The line up for chips :-(
    Sam S.

We saw a huge line up at this restaurant/fried food shop and decided to wait in line to try their legendary fries. Unfortunately it was anything but legendary and I was slightly disappointed. After having heard from many of our Dutch friends about how legendary fries are in the Netherlands I was hoping to be amazed by this place. The wait was over 20 mins and whilst the fries were freshly made it tasted a bit too dry for my liking. I don't see any reason to wait in line for this place. I am sure there are better places in town for good fries and other items.

Amazing frites w/mayo. the wait in line (mostly locals) is worth it. Trust me, Dutch mayo is on a different level-nothing like Kraft or Hellman's crap we have in US. Living close to this place was dangerous, I would force myself to take different routes to avoid divulging my weakness. Please visit this place and order, it is super easy. Even if just for a photo-op. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Fries with curry ketchup and mayo and complimentary onions.

Very good fries! The mayo and curry ketchup is an awesome combination, as the curry ketchup is a bit sweet and totally worth it. A better snack than meal but a large should be enough to share. Can't wait to come back!

If you're hungry then this really isn't a meal but a snack. However, it's a damn good one. Try the sate sauce (peanut) or the traditional vleesauce (horse) if you want something a bit heavier.

Yes there's a line that could be very long! But there's a reason for that because it's amazing !

Who uses white instead of rye bread? And if no Swiss cheese - leave the cheese as optional. No WiFi. Bet that's been a problem for a while. Add an undrinkable cocktail and you're starting to get the vibe. the most humorous bit was watching a brand new employee (being taught how to put on a half apron!) spill drinks on customers as her tray wobbled, predictably. Was surprised to see this kind of concept here in Maastricht. It was a classic bbq smokehouse type…read morerestaurant that I would expect in Memphis or Louisville not Maastricht. They did a good job with the decor I will say. With that being said it is kind of smokey inside. Not sure what the deal is with the ventilation but you will leave smelling like smoke. As for the food, the Wings were some of the best I have had. They don't have a thick breading on them but they are smoked perfectly. The ribs were ok at best but kinda burned. I think the sauce they put on the ribs that burned in the smoker. The fries were good. Slaw was more mayo based rather than vinegar but didn't expect much with that. They also had Burrata as an appetizer which was interesting considering the concept but the preparation was delicious. If you are craving bbq check it out. Definitely order the wings they are the star of the show.
