Emily is doing my nails. She is very sweet and friendly, not pushy at all. I think I will be coming to her from now on. Her demeanor makes me feel more relaxed. I went here for the first time and it was a great experience for me. I got a gel mani-pedi done by Rebecca and she was so sweet. As I was getting my nails done I noticed that Rebecca is meticulous in her work. The environment here is peaceful and they were kind enough to ask if I wanted any beverage to drink. My stepmom also got a massage and noted that the masseuse did a great job of targeting knotted areas in her back. I definitely recommend coming here the staff was very nice and welcoming. read more

Came here on my last trip to Texas and was very impressed with the service!!! Everyone was extremely friendly and provided the best customer service possible. All the tools they used were new and sanitary and the person that did my mani and pedi was super delicate and careful. Definitely my go to spot when I'm in town. I read a post about someone getting an infection and I had to leave a review because from my own personal experience I doubt the infection was from getting services done here. In my opinion, they provided A+ quality services and cleanliness. I previously had an infection on my finger from pulling a hang nail that ended up being a super deep cut. Although I didn't go to the hospital for it, there was puss and it was swollen. I'm pretty sure that was the case with the client who had the infection as well. read more

Decided to try this place out last week with my sister, after my usual place cancelled our appointment on us literally as we walked through the door. So glad that unfortunate event led to me finding Frisco Nail Bar! This will be my new regular spot. My sister and I both got nexgen manicures. Hannah did my nails and Phillip did my sisters. They were both awesome, and I will be requesting Hannah specifically in the future! On top of the awesome job they did on my nails, they also have a FULL bar. Literally drank an apple martini while getting my nails done. And everyone was SO friendly. This is definitely going to be my new go to nail salon. Can't wait to go back! Oh! And I forgot to mention, we obviously did not have an appointment... just walked in, and they immediately were able to help us. Could've been that it was a Thursday night, but either way - their attentiveness was definitely appreciated!! read more

I can not recommend this place. My daughter went here based on reviews and the technician filed in to her cuticles to try to shape her Nex gen nails. She stopped him because it was painful and left with hard sharp edges around her thick nails. She went back to address her poorly finished nails and only made her nails worse. Terrible to see a business take advantage of a teenager. The picture attached shows the worst nails I have ever seen from a nail salon. Bubbly finish and cloudy. They are terrible. read more

Tommy and Emily are THE BEST! tommy fixed my nails that were broken and even shaped up the rest from a not so great shaping job from my last nail do at another spa. He is so nice and so funny and truly talented! Emily gave my my pedicure and she was amazing my feet really needed her!!! My toes are perfectly painted and her massage was soooo good. She's really got that down! Recommend ten out of ten!!!! I'll be back! read more

Not my favorite place for a relaxing time!! I think the prices are a bit high and the language barrier is so bad that I was getting frustrated with the technicians , as they did not do what most do for mani and pedi ! I Was there way too long... Finally left tonight at 5:30 pm paid what I owed and came home and the nail polish is so thick that it is all messed up and I am going to have to take it off read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The guy doing my nails made all of my nails bleed except 2. I had the dip done on my real nails and he was in such a hurry, he didn't make them even. Sometimes, "walkins welcome" doesn't mean immediate attention, which is largely dependent on staffing and the number of clients already being served at any given time. Frisco Nail Bar was our 2nd attempt to get his and hers mani/pedi service during a Saturday afternoon. Luckily, when we walked in, we were received and seated within 5 minutes...and it was off to some much needed nail service. Despite that, I felt the attention we received was average bordering on disinterest, with my man expressing some concern on the sloppy cuticle trim he received (despite his attempts to persuade his manicurist to be aggressive with his nails) and my discomfort over the scalding hot stone pedi massage we received (my tech was a little more heedful, but the stones were really more heated than any I've experienced before). Amenities like televisions, massage chairs, and a menu of refreshments including wine somewhat made up for the experience, but there are plenty of competitors nearby, so Frisco Nail Bar will need to polish their game if we are to be regulars. read more

Staff was nice, place was clean, wasn't completely happy w. my pedicure, my toe nails were a little crooked.

Went here with 2 girlfriends a few days ago. We walked in around opening time. The nail salon is updated and clean. I was surprised by the sns dip powder collection! Our nail techs were all very polite and sweet. We each did a gel mani and pedi and we were all happy with the results. It was also nice that we all finished around the same time. The quality was on par or even better than many places in LA and NY. Thank you Frisco Nail Bar! read more

I love this place! I haven't really gotten my nails done in a LONG, LONG time... Being a full time mommy, and working full time as well--just no time. But I am so glad I tried this place out. One night, I went in for a pedicure. I'm 6 months pregnant and can't really reach my toes anymore. I got Vivian, who happened to be available for the service. She was EXCELLENT!! Very personable, so sincere, and does such a great job! I just fell in love with this place...they offer free drinks with the service and everyone in there is super welcoming. I took my daughter in next time, and I personally requested Vivian... Again--flawless. I love her! My daughter got NexGen and it looks incredible. All-in-all, this place is great. I will be a customer for life! read more

Do not visit this salon. Horrible service. The worst place I've ever been. I kept calm the entire time, never raised my voice through this whole process. Never disrespectful. I asked for a break down of the price and the lady servicing me immediately raised her voice (I'm assuming maybe she though I was gonna be a difficult black person and not pay, when that was not the case.. regardless you will get your money even if I don't like it) was loud and trying to get in my face, not listening. My nails are not what I asked for. She also wouldn't call a manager. Was insulting. Still was given no name (lady with the short haircut). She left me in the building by myself after ignoring me and the manager which she left me to call myself and while explaining to them she hung up in the managers face. They immediately called back and she tried to lie and say it was a client and that it was passed 8 so she did not have to answer. Then she acted like she answered and was talking to them but the phone rang while she was "on the phone with them" she never let me get a word out. The managers are piss poor, the lady who did my nails is extremely unprofessional and she's lucky I keep it respectful anyone else would have fought her just for what I experienced. She was rude to not only me but her own managers and I'm certain she was saying nasty things about in a different language thinking I couldn't tell. I never leave reviews because normally I just suck it up as a loss if I don't like a place but she literally was approaching me loud and as if she wanted to do something. Cutting me off, saying she doesn't care about my business, to hear what I have to say anything. And all the managers say after investigation is all we can do is apologize for her rude behavior and offer a refill. It was more than rude. If you care about your money DON'T GO HERE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK. it sucks because the gentleman and other lady who did my nails were exceptional last time and I have no issue spending money at all I paid them $120 and tipped well. read more

I am a customer that comes every two weeks. I've noticed the offer a drink to everyone that comes in except for myself although one of the workers smell like she indulges in the wine. I don't drink but, I'd like to have water. I've also asked the worker to cut my nails a little shorter and he got an attitude! If I'm paying for a service I should get what I plan on paying for. I just moved here to Frisco from So. Cal. my daughter and I were out running errands and I decided we should have an impromptu nail date. I went to Yelp for advice- it was a Sunday so I knew my options might be slim. I have tried many nail places as well as doing my own nails at home. I am picky, maybe more than most. The net net-I wasn't pleased overall with my nails for the price that I paid. My daughter and I had different services- she had a mani and basic pedi I had basic pedi and nexgen. With a tip our bill was about 125.00. I had a pedi and nex gen. It was my first time having nexgen- everyone at work raved about it! I was super excited to try. It turned out just ok- not at all what I expected. Don't get me wrong it was shiny and nice shade of baby pink but it was thick and uneven. Some nails looked good some didn't. One nail cracked under regular use after about 7 days. I had length that would be considered "athletic". My pedi was ok and the polish was sloppy upon more careful examination. My 9 year old had a mani and pedi- her mani lasted the typical 2-3 days for a girl her age- her pedi lasted forever! The people were nice enough, nothing outstanding. With all of the competition that is in town, I am sure it is hard for businesses to find ways to set themselves apart from the rest. I will keep looking. read more

Do not recommend getting NexGen at this salon. I came back after having a great pedicure the first time I came here. This time I came here with my mom and sister, we all got a NexGen manicure. The service was quick, the massage it's supposed to come with was non existent. The service and quality does match what this salon charges for the dip. Not even a week after my nails have cracked and lifted. The same for my mom and sisters nails. I was also not offered a drink as majority of salons nowadays provide. I'll be taking my business somewhere else. read more

The owner is great!! He shows care and compassion. I'm happy with my nails this time around.

This place is fantastic. I came in last night at 7:30 PM right before they closed and they were locking up the doors and turning off the lights. When we pulled up, a guy stopped and asked if we needed help and we told him that we would just wait for tomorrow and come sooner instead of right before close. He stopped us and told me to go inside and pick my color and grab a seat with him. His name was Jack, and Jack was the nicest, warming, friendly person I have me. He was welcoming even so close to their closing time and he did a fantastic job, even if he had to stay an hour after they closed. My nails look gorgeous and he was so gentle with a broken nail I had. I would recommend this place to anyone just because of Jack's kindness, the cleanliness of the salon, and the vast color options. Love it! read more

I got nexgen chrome nails and I'm pretty happy with them, but they didn't push back my cuticles and I can still see the red base since I wanted them rose gold. I have waited and I am aware it will be there for a day or two but o have waited and still see a lot of red and chrome powder around my nail and cuticle. They didn't even put cuticle oil when they were finished?? My left hands middle finger is a bit lopsided but o guess it's ok.. originally $60 since I had chrome almond. I did get 20% off with a coupon so it was $48. Gave a $5 tip for her time and ended up being $53 in total read more

I wanted to love this place! My nail tech was really funny and a blast to talk too! The station was a bit messy, but didn't really bother me. Unfortunately, my nexgen started lifting and breaking after a week. After 10 days, I had to get a whole new set. I spent $60 (with tip) on that set, so was pretty bummed. Maybe just an off day for them, but I most likely won't go back. Too expensive to take the chance again. Best of luck to this place tho! read more

Heard great reviews about this place so wanted to check it out for myself. Went for a regular mani-pedi and after looking at their numerous options decided to get the deluxe manicure and signature pedicure. The pedicure was amazing and could not have asked for any more detailed attention to my feet!! The manicure looked ok when I got it done. But the nail color started chipping off within a week. My nail color usually lasts me about 2-3 weeks before it starts to chip. Also, the lady who did my mani messed up my thumb nail and it looked so crooked, it took me a week to grow it back to file it straight. The only reason I give this place a four is for its excellent customer service and amazing pedicures!! read more

At first, this place was perfect! I started with a pedicure and it was so relaxing. It's a very nice treat to have, and my painted toes look very good. But, with my actual nails, they did not turn out too amazing:(. She put on way too much polish, the coats were so thick! I know they don't have much time to let coats dry in between, but she gave absolutely no time! Now, 8 hours later almost they are still not completely dry! I think I will stick to doing my manicures at home. read more
