Meanwhile, two barbers were literally sitting around doing NOTHING. I politely asked if one of them could take me. One of them answered with the most condescending, clown-level attitude, saying they "wouldn't do that to my stylist." Give me a break. These guys act like clowns who need a crash course in customer service, professionalism, and how to build loyalty--because right now, they have NONE. And the worst part? You can literally see their ugly demeanor toward other unsatisfied customers too. It's not just me--they treat people poorly across the board. This place is a disgrace to what customer service is supposed to be. Avoid this dump. I'll happily go anywhere else. NEVER coming back.

I found Kut and Klips located right off mainstream breckenridge. From the outside Kut really doesn't seem like something to stand out to catch your eye. But when you go inside -- its nice cozy atmosphere. Great conversations and frankly the best haircut I've had in years (and my barber is great and i don't cheat on him). The salon's website is very easy to navigate for checking stylist availability and booking appointments. Parking is generally convenient too (with the exception of peak events) with spots usually available on Main Street or in the lot behind Columbine Cafe, right across the street. Tonda is always on time or letting me know in advance of any unexpected changes to her schedule. Everyone is friendly and the salon is always clean and bright. I actually got sick over the weekend, and when I called on a Sunday to let them know I couldn't come in, to my surprise, they answered. So I guess they're open on the weekend! Anyway, they were super nice about the reschedule, so I moved my appointment back, and was paired with Kate. I didn't really even know what I didn't like about it, but after I showed Kate photos of haircuts I've had in the past that I loved, she picked up on the fact that I had some brighter highlights and that my hair had been a bit blonder. The other stylist also had not put highlights on the back of my head, so that was really dark compared to the front. I described how my hair had been cut in the past in long layers, and sure enough, the previous stylist had cut the layers backwards (longer on the top layers so it didn't lay right). She got to work on it, and I'm really happy to say that it came out awesome. I'm very loyal with my stylists, even coordinating trips back to Austin to get my hair cut for two years after we moved to Summit County, but I just hadn't taken the step of finding someone here. I'm really happy with the results...I'll be back!
