I got lucky and there had been a cancellation (this is a Friday afternoon mind you), and I got an appointment for 3pm. I walked in at 3pm and saw Dr. Lieber no later than 3:01pm (ok, so I had to fill out the necessary forms first, but you get the idea). He was just like his staff - super friendly, super nice, and super informative. He looked at it and explained it was a lateral ankle sprain, and proceeded to wrap the ankle nice and tight and told me to stay off it and keep it elevated the best I could. The next day, the ankle started to heal, but by Sunday, it felt as if nothing happened. The weekend could have been a disaster, Dr. Lieber helped make it a great one. I couldn't be more appreciative of his efforts.

If you've ever suffered from chronic severe plantar fasciitis you know the hopelessness, frustration, despair, and chronic pain that greets every day. At one point I honestly was just feeling like please amputate my foot and just be done with this! When your mobility is effected, it has a domino effect on so many other areas of our life. For example with that kind of pain constant, I was no longer able to go to the gym. So then My stress level started increasing because I couldn't burn it off sweating it out. Then I started eating more food because I got stressed. Which made me put on more weight. Which made me more depressed. Which caused more pain on my planter fasciitis because I was carrying more weight on it and putting more pressure on the heel. Then I started getting more irritable. My personal Trainer and Physical Therapist albeit not a doctor suggested based upon experience of seeing my issue in other suggested an MRI from the beginning. Seems to me one addresses the obvious 1st to relieve the discomfort. Personally after 4 visits my opinion Certified Foot + Ankle is a business above health care. They sought out the issue, got me in the right place and had me comfortable the whole time. As of recent, I injured my left foot this past month and have had to come back.
