My wife's parents recommended Dr. Lieber so I called up the office and they couldn't have been more helpful. I got lucky and there had been a cancellation (this is a Friday afternoon mind you), and I got an appointment for 3pm. He was just like his staff - super friendly, super nice, and super informative. He looked at it and explained it was a lateral ankle sprain, and proceeded to wrap the ankle nice and tight and told me to stay off it and keep it elevated the best I could. The next day, the ankle started to heal, but by Sunday, it felt as if nothing happened. The weekend could have been a disaster, Dr. Lieber helped make it a great one. I couldn't be more appreciative of his efforts.

After spending a lot on various creams and making what felt like weekly visits, we decided to change doctors. Now, after just one visit to our current doctor, we are already seeing results. This doctor charges $250 for laser treatment, but recommended an alternative approach: pulling the nail. This solved the problem, and my copay was only $25.

If you've ever suffered from chronic severe plantar fasciitis you know the hopelessness, frustration, despair, and chronic pain that greets every day. At one point I honestly was just feeling like please amputate my foot and just be done with this! When your mobility is effected, it has a domino effect on so many other areas of our life. For example with that kind of pain constant, I was no longer able to go to the gym. So then My stress level started increasing because I couldn't burn it off sweating it out. Then I started eating more food because I got stressed. Which made me put on more weight. Which made me more depressed. Which caused more pain on my planter fasciitis because I was carrying more weight on it and putting more pressure on the heel. Then I started getting more irritable. And my relationships started to suffer. I was not able to participate in recreational activities or even take a nice hike in nature. Which started to effect my sleep patterns. Which then started to effect my work performance. I think you get the picture. But I can tell you, after 6 months of almost weekly treatments utilizing a combination of the shockwave machine, special custom designed insoles, special footwear, and even CBD pain relief cream it created an entourage effect that ultimately healed my injury. Today I am happy to say I am 98% better! Dr. Dorfman was not only a Physician that helped alleviate the physical pain but he also helped alleviate my mental anguish. His personality and persona are very comforting. He has no pretension, and you really feel like you with a very close friend or even family member. He is authentic and sincere. When I lost hope, I put my faith in him. His whole practice is immaculately clean and his staff are exceptional. Every single one of them you can tell are grateful and happy to be under his employment. That shows in their attitude towards the patients. And also the professional environment means that you hardly ever have to wait longer than necessary for your appointment. Everything is very efficient when you get there. And it's a very warm and happy atmosphere. I especially enjoy seeing Candace at the front desk when I check in. She always has a smile and a happy glow! I'm so grateful for the healing! Truthfully if you're looking for the best and you value your mobility and ability to live your best healthy active life then I can't think of anywhere in the State of Florida that you're better off going to then East Ocean Podiatry.
