This was good. I liked the setup. Fright Nights was 4 haunted house, entertainment, carnival rides, food, games and an arcade. I had a great time here. The haunted houses were fun. Each one with a diferent theme. The special effects used and actors both excellent. I enjoyed that rock music playing and the entertainment while I waited in line. You got to check out the actors costumes. They were great. The parking was $10. There was plenty of parking. This place had helping attendants guiding the parking. This event had some rules I suggest reading on it, like purse sizes. Once inside you are given a park with access to 3 out of the 4 haunted houses. You can refill the card for the last house. I did not do it so I am not so sure how to do that. Towards the back there was an arcade with huge skeletons. It had mostly vending machines and a few games. The vending machines had these chubby stuffed figures. They seem popular. I enjoyed the carnival and I was surprised on the adult beverages sold. This was a good fair.

Our family loves Halloween and we generally try to go to every Halloween event/festival. Fright Nights by any means does not compare to Halloween Horror Nights, however, it is hella fun and waaaayyyy cheaper. It's more of a mini carnival mixed with a mini Horror Nights. The 4 haunted houses are designed very cool and the one advantage Fright Nights has over Halloween Horror Nights is that they pace the crowd as they enter the houses, which provides a better experience to enjoy the decor and get a few jump scares. We came last night (10/25) and there was literally no line, 10-15min tops!!!! We will be back tonight. Our family and friends had a blast.

Uhm.... Decided to go just to get out the house. Wasn't impressed at all. I don't know maybe I'm getting old. A scary movie at home with a nice protein shake, a bowl of Santi homemade guacamole & chips and cuddling with my Santi would probably had been a better experience. Too expensive to even go in. That blew me away. I remember no one paid to go into a carnival. They charge $40 just to enter. That's ridiculous and nothing in there is worth $40. What if the person just wants to go for the funnel cake right???!!!!.... So wouldn't recommend. Take the drive to Halloween Horror nights in Orlando instead.

I had been here before but it was years ago. We had gone to a different haunted house event that was disappointing so decided to check this one out. The fair portion was a bit small, maybe 4-5 rides? The houses take 20 tickets and I didn't realize that until after we rode a ride and used some tickets. So then we had to pay again to add more tickets to our card so we could do all the houses. We went through the walk through to get to the houses and were blown away by how long the lines were. We asked a worker and they said each line was probably over an hour, and all the lines were zigzagged and super crammed in the waiting area. We walked back out and went and purchased VIP/express. You couldn't buy it online, had to be purchased in person. They kept having issues with their computers/systems, so we wound up waiting for about 45 minutes to get our tickets. But after that, we were walked right into each of the houses! The houses were long, way longer than I expected, and done really well. They had a lot of good pop outs and overall it was some of the best houses I'd ever been to. I'll definitely go back next year!

The haunted houses were absolutely amazing. The crowds and wait to get in not so much. All of the lines for food were extremely long. The first house took us 30 minutes which wasn't too bad and the second house was 45 mins. It was a unique experience as they weave you through a maze as if you're cattle. I wouldn't go on a weekend again lol I would try Opening weekend or a Thursday if I go again. The scare actors were incredible.

I could only work on Friday & Saturday. I worked 6 of 8 days. You still have time to go. Get your BOGO tickets for Thursday October 26.

I went to the auditions on September 10, at the iThink Amphitheater. Yes, it was a little different than auditioning for Universal Haunted Horror Nights Hollywood or Sx Flags Los Angeles Fright Fest. I came with past experiences and didn't have to show my previous experience. It seemed to be a Type Casting Call based on people they knew. All the paid jobs were taken ahead of time and they were only signing up volunteers. I was able to meet with David, who got me a paid position. I was grateful for that. I went to Actors training on September 23, that was fun. I was allowed to show them my inner MONSTER training. We were there from 10am - 4pm. Dress rehearsal was Saturday September 30th. It was 10am - 2pm. We got to see our rooms. Sunday October 1st was final dress rehearsal. We worked 9am - 5pm. This was a full day of discovering our room, our characters and a fire drill.. 1st day for me was Friday October 6. It was fun. I was able to scare a lot of people. I worked through Saturday September 20th. I had a fun time being part of The Family of Freaks. I recommend anyone that wants to be part of the cast, to be more active in approaching the House Leaders of the house they want in. All in all, I had a good experience working there and I recommend anyone that wants to be part of a Fun environment, to consider joining and going to a casting in September. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. This opportunity was welcome for all ages. Even if you have a child that wants in, bring them.

I had no plans for Halloween this year, and I happened to browse through Groupon and came across Fright Night in West Palm Beach. The tickets were half off and since I'm a member of Groupon Select, I was able to obtain an additional 25% off. I purchased three tickets for around $33 bucks. I read that the park opened at 6 pm and since I live in the heart of Miami, it would be an hour and thirty-minute drive coming and going. I left my house at 3:30 p.m. and picked up my son in Miami Gardens and took the turnpike, I really did not want to catch that afternoon traffic. I pretty much arrived in thirty minutes because I took the kids to eat at Culvers. I arrived at the South Florida Fair Grounds and there was a $5 dollar parking fee. (Word of advice, arrive early in order to get good parking) I parked my vehicle and exited towards the front entrance, before entering, they have their staff check your personal property ensuring they you have no weapons or contraband. Afterward, you redirected to another area, where you either give them your entrance tickets, or phone and they scanned them. The attendant in return gives a sheet containing a total of (30) tickets. Those tickets can be used for either rides or the four haunted houses available. Since I read in the earlier Yelp reviews, how the lines can get long, we went to the first haunted house, all haunted houses were a total of (8) tickets and after calculations me and the kids need an extra (6) tickets which were $1 apiece which equal to a total of $6 extra dollars. The first three haunted houses were less than a ten-minute wait, but the last house was a thirty-minute wait. All the haunted houses were actually scary and the actors did an excellent job. The only complaint I had was after finishing the houses, you had to go all the way around re-enter the haunted house area go through a maze. They offered a $5 (FASTPASS), but since we arrived early to the park there was really not a need to purchase it. The fair had vendors with a variety of different foods, drinks, and alcohol, at the last minute I was in the mood for corn on the cob and I shared half with my sons. Depending on your time of arrival, you can accomplish all four haunted houses in around two hours give or take. Since I had a long drive back to Miami and Miami Gardens we headed out. It was my first time and me and kids really enjoyed it. The prices were very reasonable and it was something different from the norm I do. If on a budget, and want to do a little driving, I highly recommend this place.

Expect this for over an hour! Have fun!

you're looking forward to stand on line for over an hour on dirt just to get in, then this is definitely the place for you. Place opened late at 8:30pm it's past 10:00pm and haven't even gotten in. The bad thing about this is there really isn't that many people here.

Fight in a crowd. Multiple police in there and additional police couldn't even get in to help

We went on a couples date for the haunted houses. We got there early to miss the crowds. We only made it through one haunted house before all hell broke loose. There were so many fights that we couldn't even get into line for the other haunted houses because people were running everywhere. It wasn't safe at all. The actors were running through the cattle grids causing the everyone to run, push and run people over. It's unfortunate because I bought additional tickets to bring my teenager and there is no way I'd feel safe with her there.

Does anyone know if they have cotton candy? I gave my 17 year old 20 bucks to get me some and she came back with no money and said they didnt have it..or kettle corn..i dunno if i believe her or her friends!!!

I don’t think they had either. The food/treat situation was a little lacking this year...but that’s not why you go :)

By the 1980's, downtown West Palm Beach was rundown and associated with poverty and drug use. In 1996 in an effort to make the area more business and tourist friendly, the 55 acres surrounding the theater was demolished. The church underwent a six million dollar restoration by REG Architects turning into a multipurpose performance hall with shops on the first floor. It anchored City Place which is now called The Square. The 850-seat, 11,000-square-foot theater opened in 2000 and it was used for arts performances, receptions, community meetings and other events. My girlfriend suggested I pay for the VIP tickets and told me it would definitely be worth it. Unfortunately, where we were sitting at the high tables near the stage wasn't the greatest view. Unfortunately, my recent visit to see the Peking Acrobats was a completely different experience--one that left me feeling singled out and deeply uncomfortable. I understand that policies evolve. Paid parking is one thing, even if it feels like an added burden on top of already expensive tickets. What's harder to overlook is how I was treated from the moment I arrived. While parking, I backed into a spot as I've done on previous visits and was immediately and aggressively corrected by a parking attendant. If it's head-in parking only, that's perfectly fine--but the tone was unnecessarily harsh. What stood out even more was that a nearby vehicle was also backed in and remained that way without being addressed or corrected. Despite that, I was the one singled out. Inside the venue, things escalated. When I approached the information desk to ask about a note on my ticket for a complimentary pre-show drink, the staff member questioned the legitimacy of my tickets--where I got them, when I got them--and then had my family and me step aside in the lobby while they rescanned them to confirm they were "real." We stood there for about 15 minutes, feeling as though we had done something wrong, simply for asking a question. What was most telling was what happened next. When an elderly white patron approached the same desk with the exact same note on his ticket, the tone immediately shifted. Only then did staff begin resolving the issue, and only then were we directed to redeem the drinks we had already been delayed over. The contrast was hard to ignore. Unfortunately, the pattern continued. After purchasing drinks and a few snacks, we were stopped almost immediately after leaving the concession line and told we could not take food into the theater. Again, I complied without issue. But once seated, I couldn't help but notice multiple other patrons--directly around us--eating inside the theater: cookies, popcorn, even outside food. None of them were stopped. None of them were approached. By that point, the issue was no longer about the rules--it was about how selectively they were enforced. In the span of less than an hour, I was approached three separate times by staff, each interaction carrying an edge of suspicion or correction that others around me did not seem to experience. As an Asian-American man attending with my interracial family, it became increasingly difficult to dismiss how targeted it felt. What should have been a joyful evening turned into something else entirely. It's a difficult feeling to describe--being made to feel out of place in a venue you've supported for years, and then having to process that in front of your child. This experience left me disappointed and honestly hurt. The Kravis Center has always been a place I respected, but after this, it's hard to see myself returning anytime soon.

The narrow tunnel is cleaved from coquina stone and wedged between rows of multi-million dollar estates and the golf course for one of Palm Beach's elite private clubs. The road was carved through the hill -- which is made of coquina, a type of limestone that has pieces of coral, sea shells and marine invertebrates, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration -- in 1916 after a powerful hurricane cut off the North End from the rest of Palm Beach. These cliffs are the Coral Cut, or, more colloquially, the Witch's Wall -- one of the most storied and spooky spots in Palm Beach. One story says the little space is haunted by a girl who was imprisoned there. Some who tell the story say it was a witch who kept the girl captive. Another story says the small window led to the lair of a witch who would lure children through the gate by tempting them with sweets. Yet another tale says the cliffs are haunted by the spirits of sailors who were stranded on the coastline hundreds of years ago.

On the the southwest corner of the Palm Beach Country Club you will find Coral Cut also known as…read morethe Witch's Wall. It was created from a deposit of rock and coquina shell up to 200 feet tall that is the result of the intracoastal to the west and the ocean to the east converging on this spot. You can see the layers of sediments where they cut through to create Country Club Road. While this is an interesting place from a geological perspective what makes it fun is all of the legends surrounding this road. On the south face of the walk is a small window with a covered gate. Stories say a witch living on top of the mound would kidnap children and lock them behind the gate, hence the name Witch's Wall. What the gate is really guarding is a pipe that leads to a water pump station. Some of the spooky stories may stem from the fact that the road is very dark at night except for a single cage light on the stone wall. If you decide to drive down this road take it slowly because it is very narrow and there are signs reminding you not to stop. Once you emerge from the wall there is a gorgeous view of the Intracoastal awaiting you.
