I can't ever imagine taking him anywhere else, because the quality and service Amy provides is truly exceptional. Now, to be honest, Bud can be a bit difficult to groom as I suspect he had trauma in his life. He's not aggressive, but wiggly and difficult. Amy is so patient with my little old man and will work tirelessly to do the best job she can. Once when we arrived to pick him up, she was calmly sitting with him in a chair, trying to do gentle little snip snips as he would grumpily allow. His appointment was technically over, but she was still committed to giving him the best haircut possible. That patience and love meant a lot to me. That image sticks with me! The Grooming Station is a one-dog-at-a-time local business, so do you don't have to worry about other dogs barking, especially if yours is anxious. You can feel good about leaving your pooch in the capable hands of this loving, clean, and talented groomer!

My 5lbs…read more(toothless) dog has severe anxiety and reactive behavior, she is the only person who can touch him after a decade. I called her for our regular appointment and she let me know that she "can no longer groom him" and truly left me in the dust. I asked her why she didn't let me know about 4 weeks ago when I picked him up from his grooming and she replied, "oh sorry but ya no." This is just bad business and poor ethical ownership. I'm sad how little her loyal customers mean to her.

I called today to complain since this is the SECOND time we've picked them up with a ruined leash, and I got yelled at. Yes I fought back, but I did not get anything from them other than "its my fault" this happened under their flippin watch. A proper customer service mentality does not exist with that place. We will NEVER step foot in that place again, and I will be blasting them with bad reviews everywhere I can, between Google and word of mouth.

So obviously, when we were planning to travel abroad for the week last week we made sure we made a reservation for Odie. I happen to notice a couple of discouraging reviews from other folks and I was concerned. Did something happen with staff, service? However, when Odie arrived he was greeted in rockstar fashion. Everyone had been looking forward to seeing him. The staff was more than happy to keep us informed as to how he was doing during the week. When we picked him up, he was groomed, with nails done. They even gave them a tie to wear around the place. We have already scheduled his next vacation at Alador. Anyone reading this review should be doing the same thing with their pet. Thanks to the entire crew is really not enough. You guys are awesome!

Carol the owner is rude and I believe is starting to lose it. I have 2 goldendoodles and a 14 year…read moreold mixed poodle. She has a lot of tumors and it hurts her to get groomed. Apparently Carol hurt her and she nipped her. Carol came out yelling at me and told me it was my fault because I should have brought her in once a month. Warned me if I didn't I couldn't come back anymore. My 2 doodles go every month and the old girl would have if Carol would have told me and scheduled her. I lefted, without saying anything, hought it would be better to calm down and talk with her the following month. When I tried she continued to hold her ground, so I told her the old dog would not be back and I would bring my other dogs to the two other groomers. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be back. She basically told me not to bother coming back. So I told her to show it up her a--, and will never go back. After reading these reviews, I would have never gone there. Next time, I'll read the reviews. The two groomers that work for her are great and really do a nice job. I wish they would move somewhere else. I will miss them but not the owner Carol. She needs help With her attitude.

But if that were my dog, I'd never ever take it back there again, and could completely understand why the dog hates getting groomed. how do I know it was Carol, the owner? For reference, I used to attend Kent State University so that is why my dog visits Memorial Animal Hospital as his regular vet (who this place is ran with and I believe your pet does have to be a patient with to utilize this boarding service- I could be wrong on that last part though). They are great there so I never bothered switching to something closer. Bed and Biscuit requires all main vaccinations as well as flea prevention so I know he won't be picking anything up from his stay. They also offer blankets and relaxing spray for stressed pups. They also provide food free of charge for the duration of stay, but I prefer to bring his own but it's still a nice accommodation! My dog has pretty bad separation anxiety and this place knows just how to handle him- let's just say things didn't go so great for him on the first day! They moved him to a larger kennel space without charging me just he could be more comfortable!!! They also gave him his favorite moderation snack- cheese!! Treats are the way to his heart so it made me happy they did their best to make this a comfortable and pleasant stay for him. Having a dog that doesn't do separation well is pretty difficult to manage at first, but by the end of his stay he was a happy pup and was clearly well taken care of. It's always easy to drop off/ pick up and their rates are really good. My pup has been here twice now and is scheduled to be there again next month. I always worry about the safety of my pup when I'm not around but I can relax when I'm out of town knowing he is well taken care of here.

Lynn does wonderful and caring work, is sensitive to our cats agitation levels and knows when to give a little 'break-time' to help to calm. I've been taking our cat in for "Lions" cuts as well for many years. Lynn is always professional, has done great cuts and our cat appears to enjoy the results as well!
