There is still dirt on my toenails after my pedicure. The technician filed a few of my 10 toenails and did not do any cuticle cleaning at all. I mentioned the spot shown in the first picture to the technician after she was done filing my nails. She attempted to clean it but used tweezers and picked skin instead of cleaning the nail. The polish is also pretty bad. This pedicure was $35. I'm totally disappointed.

Lovely salon. Came with my elderly grandmother and disabled aunt. Both were treated very nicely and the workers were very helpful with my disabled aunt. Salon has clean services and took their time with my nails. Usually at other salons I am rushed and have to point out their mistakes but here there were none. As you can see my nails came out great. The cut on one of my nails is self inflicted, NOT from the salon.

Lanni never disappoints! She always has the best ideas! I highly recommend using her services!

Stopped in for pedicure; don't typically go here. Woman removed my previous gel pedicure with cuticle clippers instead of buffing them off (like in every other nail salon on the planet earth since always). She ended up removing one of my toenails. It was super painful and bloody. She then poured liquid from an unlabeled bottle onto my toe which burnt like the dickens, literally moments after I asked her not to because I didn't know what it was. She was trying to get me to put my open wounded toenail-less tootsie back into the dirty pedicure water (not even for a second). I asked her to just clean the open wound out with alcohol bc it was really painful. Then she didn't drain the pedicure tub while using the gel light over my feet. She attempted to paint the skin I had left and I let her know that I didn't want that. I was surprised by how confused she was that I didn't want gel nail polish to be burned into my skin by a UV light. Call me crazy but just not my idea of a fun Friday morning. Another customer noticed I was super uncomfortable and told the owner she didn't care. She still charged me the full $40 for the pedi even tho I went in with 10 toenails and left with 9. She made sure to let me know she'd do my pedicure next time. I made sure to let her know there would absolutely not be a next time.

Never again. My normal place was busy so I decided to try a new place. My mistake. Lesson learned. This is quite painful. So much for getting pretty nails before vacation. I leave in three days. I hope it's healed by then. It's quite painful. I have a lot of waking planned for my time away. This is not good.

Tried out this place cause another salon, in the Target shopping center, does a below average job. This place was clean and the workers were friendly. They did a great job on my pedicure. It was a bit confusing near the end of the service as the pedicurist didn't direct me where to go. She just said, "ok, you are all done". Well returned cause the quality of work is worth the confusion. FYI: Cash, Visa & MC only.

The fine work of a four year old...

A four year old did my nails... Just kidding... I went to Friendly's!! Had a gel mani and pedi here recently. My pedi was fantastic, unfortunately the same lady didn't do my mani. The pictures should explain why you shouldn't come here. Waste of $30, and I had to spend half an hour removing it.

Polish bubbled...not happy. I paid with a debit card and was askedif I had cash for the tip. It's not okay to ask!

Newly remodeled. However we must have gone on a bad day. Two out of three of us are disappointed with our mani and pedis. My polish bubbled, my friend's polish is not smooth more like chunky. Ugh, what a waste of money.

ANC mani by Chloe. She did a beautiful job.

I have long hair and am always worried about a new stylist cutting too much off - Lauran did a wonderful job of leaving my length while adding in face framing layers. My first experience at Kristin's was thanks to a groupon purchased by my wonderful fiance (then,…read moreboyfriend) for a massage, facial, and manicure. The time came where the groupon had nearly expired -- given that I am a terrible procrastinator -- and Kristin worked VERY hard with me to find a time where I could come in. All of the services that I received were exceptional, and although I haven't had my hair done by Kristin yet, she is a kind and welcoming individual who always seems glad to see me. Since that first time, I have been in every couple of months for one person in particular: Amy, the aesthetician of my dreams. Amy is my guru, my hero, my Yoda. When I first came in, I had (with all of the best of intentions) completely destroyed my skin. I had been using various products I knew very little about in an attempt to treat my acne which had actually happened as a result of the astringent products I was using making my face extremely sensitive! To hide this from others I was piling foundation and concealer onto my face, which prevented any kind of healing. Amy knew instantly what was wrong and had all sorts of recommendations to make. Every day my skin looks better, and each time I go to Kristin's her smile shows me how drastic the change has been. In fact, with the exception of a tinted SPF I have been using, I have almost completely ceased to use make-up. I don't need it! My skin is incredible! Although everyone at Kristin's will make your day and make you feel fabulous, I cannot recommend Amy's services highly enough. My sister (also an aesthetician) had been telling me for months to find a professional and get real advice about my skin, and her advice led me to this person who made a HUGE difference in my self-image and confidence. Go to Kristin's! As soon and as often as possible!!! You will not regret this decision!

She also takes the time to ask where my pain and tension are, which is fantastic. She wants to ensure that I leave the session feeling better. She also uses multiple techniques, including myofascial release to get rid of pain and tension. Her studio is inside an office building and it's easy to find. There's also ample parking in the attached parking lot. It also has an elevator as she's on the second floor. Jennifer's online booking system is extremely easy to use. I highly recommend Intuitive Healing!

Truly Transformational - The Best Massage Experience of My Life!…read more From the moment I walked into Intuitive Healing, I felt like I had entered a sanctuary. The atmosphere was serene, warm, and instantly grounding. But what truly set this experience apart was the incredible intuition and skill of the therapist. It was as if they could sense exactly what my body needed--without me even having to say a word. Every movement was intentional, every touch felt guided by something deeper than technique, it was healing in the truest sense. I've had massages before, but this was something else entirely. It felt like layers of physical tension and emotional weight just melted away. I walked out feeling reconnected, rebalanced, and deeply restored. If you're looking for more than just a massage--if you're looking for a profound reset, a true healing experience--this is it. I honestly can't recommend Intuitive Healing highly enough. Five stars doesn't do it justice.

It was my 41st birthday and I thought I would really treat myself - in place of my annual Walmart pedicure and haircut ($50). I thought I would splurge and try to go someplace a bit more "pampering". I am always last minute - so I do realize that this entire situation was no one's fault but my own and I probably should have taken more than a few days to schedule these appointments. Sadly - Schenectady does not have anything remotely on the same scale as Kimberly's - in fact you are lucky to find a place to get more than one service in one day around here. You want a haircut, and a pedicure??? I can give you the haircut Thursday and the pedicure next Tuesday - also a Massage? Well our therapist is booked a month out... Are you kidding me?? I was thrilled when the woman at Sherri Paull said they could do a haircut and a pedicure in the same appointment! I was trying not to be rude but I had noticed that on their website it stated that they had both junior and master stylists. I asked her to please not schedule me with a junior stylist as I have a LOT of really thick hair and since I only get it cut once a year I do not trust to the job to anyone with limited experience. She quickly replied we do not have any junior stylists (as if I had no clue what I was saying). When I arrived they were not very busy, there was a few older ladies in there getting their hair done by stylists my age (or older) and then me. I only had a short wait and then a young woman came out and asked me to follow her back. I was a bit confused as she lead me to a small closet sized room and pointed to a black roll around office chair for me to sit in. I was momentarily shocked - I said "so, I guess you guys don't do many pedicures?" Even more shocking was the reply of "oh we do quite a few.." SERIOUSLY? There was a portable foot bath for me to soak my feet in. SO now I am cramped in this tiny ass room with my arm resting on some equipment cart because there is not enough room for my shoulders while my feet are in a damn bubbling bucket!!! This was so far from comfortable that it was laughable to think what they were charging me - when I could be at Walmart sitting in a $3000 massage chair with my feet in a pool of hot swirling jets. I don't think my feet soaked for more than a minute when she came back to start my pedicure. It was a joke - they hadn't even soaked long enough and here she is trying to pumice off the rough skin! Pretty much I had my feet washed - briefly rubbed - pumice-ed - toe nails cut - and painted (no base coat, no top coat). This was their "spa pedicure" - for $40! The reality of the situation really came when I realized that the young girl who just did a shit job on the pedicure was about to cut my hair!!! I had the remainder of a perm that still looked really good on my ends - and I wanted to try and preserve it throughout the summer for my own convenience since I mostly have my hair up in the hot weather. I was VERY specific with this request and voiced it MULTIPLE times. Please just trim the split ends - do not do anything else. Well - when you have limited experience and only been cutting hair for a couple of years - you don't have to honor the clients request, you just do what you learned in school!! Apparently when I specifically say I want to preserve the curl on the ends - to HER it means I would like you to straighten out all my hair so that I cannot tell that you just cut all the goddamn curl off the top of my head. This stupid idiot robotic-ally layered my hair - in the process, cutting off every little bit of curl that was left on the top of my head. As if I could not see the giant pile of my own hair accumulating under the fucking chair!!! Is it really any question why this girl only works PART-TIME?? So involved in conversation with the other stylists that she was unable or unwilling to focus on what she was doing! You are kidding yourself if you think going here is any kind of professional or "pampering" experience. I would have saved $50 just doing my usual trim and pedi at Walmart and I would have gotten much better service. Instead I paid $100 for a pathetic pedicure and a haircut that I cannot recover from - a month later and my hair still looks like total shit - straight on the top and still curly on the bottom - and now I have to wait for it to grow out before I can get another perm. If you want to advertise your salon as a SPA - it cannot still be a SALON!! You sure as hell cannot charge as if you are providing spa quality service when you do not even have appropriate space or equipment, proper provisions or an experienced staff to provide spa services!! It is a ripoff and false advertising - if you wonder why people do not return, don't - ask yourself - would I pay for this??
