Nothing friendly about this place !!!
Carol H.

I went today with my face half swollen to be seen. In return I was told by receptionist that I cannot be seen because I went to another doctor. I explained that I went because I was in emergency not because I had changed my assigned dentist. The dental place I went to is in another state to which I was visiting there is no way I was going to cross states just to be seen, especially if you are in big pain. In addition I have not been seen since 2021 because I had alot going on with deaths of family due to Covid . My mind wasn't in a state to see a dentist. For these reasons I was turned away and told to go to the dentist I went to during my emergency which again is in another state. They also have a sign outside there door on a plaque that saids "walk ins are welcome " and he had no one in his office. The place was empty !! Also, there is nothing in writing that indicates you will turn patients away If they went somewhere else as an emergency. Again, I was in another state NOT in NY. I had this dental place in another light this is disappointing and unprofessional on dentist behalf, LLIA ABRAMOV, DDS . In future, put this in writing so that patient understands not to return to you if you happen to have an emergency. Also the receptionist was very rude. There is nothing friendly about this dental office don't be fooled make sure you ask all your questions so you won't be mislead or turned away. 1- score.

Even when I was between different job positions, different dental plans and Dr Otto wasn't within my network, I waited- until my next dental plan did list him as my in-network dentist. Staff is always excellent, from the dental hygienist- Euris to the receptionist Daisy to Dr. Otto's Assistant- who's name escapes me- down to his wife-who always takes care of billing. Dr. Otto is a wonder. Always left out of here content with the few dental procedures I've gotten. He's a sharp shooter but with a cool sense of humor and will let me know what needs to be done and how to maintain my choppers. I don't know why I used to have this weird thought of walking into a dingy office and crummy tools. Not here! His office is inviting, rooms are pleasant and everything is spic and span. And what tops it- every time you visit, he'd have a real cool music playlist going: from Merengue to even Coldplay to Worldly music. Love! Really like the expertise he's been bringing this long. And by the way...first name Otto. Last name González. See you in 6 months!

I've been an advocate for the office in the Morris Park area, referring clients to them. However, I've been shocked by the drastic changes that have taken place over the years. Back then, the staff was incredibly friendly and supportive. They would work with you and follow up with you regularly. But now, things are different. I've faced financial hardship and can't afford certain procedures right now. However, they've implemented a new fee policy that charges $50 per cancellation if you don't show up or call within 24 to 48 hours. I've accrued three cancellations, not because I didn't show up, but because I called to cancel short-noticed due to a family emergency. I explained my hardship and the financial struggles my family is facing, especially my daughter who has autism. But no one ever got back to me regarding the fees. The balance is still on my account. To make matters worse, I recently had an Invisalign treatment that turned out to be a complete waste of money. My impression wasn't done correctly, and I don't believe this procedure should have been done on me in the first place. I initially asked for metal braces, but that was a mistake. I've also had several root canals, including a bridge, post, and crowns. And guess what? They're telling me I need another root canal in the same tooth that already had one done. It's ridiculous! They don't seem to care about my well-being or my smile. The office is always packed with people, and the staff is constantly changing. It's hard to build a relationship with anyone there. They're all just focused on making money, not on helping patients. Let's fast forward to July 22, 2025. My bridge came out and needed to be cemented back in place. Instead of doing a permanent cement, they informed me that I needed a whole new bridge and temporarily cemented it down. I went to the front desk and was told that I needed to pay $5,600 for this new procedure. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the required procedure at this time. They also mentioned that there was still a $150 charge on my account for not canceling my appointment within 24 to 48 hours. Now, here's where things get intentional and unprofessional. On July 23, 2025, I called to make an appointment to have my bridge permanently cemented down, as I mentioned earlier, because I couldn't afford the requested procedure at the moment. I spoke with someone in the morning and inquired about the cost. They advised me to call at 12 p.m. to speak with the billing manager. I called, but I received no answer several times. I asked my sister to call on her phone to see if they would pick up, and they did. I received a bill in the mail for a forwarding balance that I don't understand, along with other charges. On August 6, 2025, I called the office manager again to speak with them. I was told that I had to call back at 12 p.m. I tried calling at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., but I kept getting no answer. I just finished calling at 3:47 p.m. when someone picked up and told me that the office manager was not in. This is not how you treat a patient. I have never been disrespectful or rude to anyone in this establishment. I have been a loyal customer for the past 10 years, trusting their treatment plans and believing that they were doing the right things by me. However, instead, I have been left without help or a solution due to me not having the money at this time and I am being dismissed by the staff and doctors intentionally.
