After searching for fresh seafood in the retail/wholesale category on the Internet this little gem came up. The place was a classic hole in the wall find. When I got to the plaza, didn't see the name of the market so I asked around and found out it was around back of the building. I walked in one of the first things that I noticed was the place was neat, and I didn't notice that classic "seafood smell " we all know about. The two owners were very gracious and showed me around. I called prior to coming there and ask them for fresh whole grouper, snapper and lobster tails. Upon arriving, the owners proceeded to open up freezer cabinets and showed me an abundance of snapper and grouper varieties in the whole fish category. Looking at the eyes of the fish, you could tell they were super fresh, just the way us seafood buyers like them. I did have them fillet, scale, and butterfly some of my fish while I was there. I also purchased pre- frozen lobster tails had them the next night for dinner absolutely So tasty.. Here is my pro tip of the day : The afternoon I was there, I saw the sign they had a GROUPER FISH SANDWICH with fries and a drink for $10. (The only thing I'm missing is a picture). You cannot get fresh grouper w/ lettuce, tomato, and onion (on a bun toasted) with fries and drink for $10 ANYWHERE I KNOW OF (ask them for a bit of the homemade spicy hot sauce) tell them Jeff P. sent you "thank me later".

I ordered the 6 piece fried oysters with 10 shrimp meal while my wife had the salmon with rice. We also added a side of whiting which included 3 decent size pieces. We both were surprised how good the food was, it looked overly seasoned but it was just about right. My only issue was that mine had a little too much batter which diminished the taste a bit. So if you order anything fried then I'd request lightly battered. Other than that the prices were a tad bit much but it was close. Neither of these reasons would discourage us from dining here again, but they did cause the score to be a 3 instead of a 4. I recommend this business

The first time, I was searching online for a place where I could get some oxtail, and I came across this store with a 4.7-star rating. I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! More importantly, I can't believe I didn't know about this place during the 25 years I've lived here in Tampa. From now on, this is my go-to spot for all my meat and seafood! The prices were unbelievable, especially for the amount of meat I received, and the quality was second to none. Not only did I get my oxtail, but I also picked up some goat meat at an outstanding price! I also learned they offer a 5% military discount for veterans during the last week of every month, which is another great reason to support them. I want to give a special shout-out to the owner, Bill, who took great care of me at the register. He made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, told me about all the great deals they offer, and truly treated me like family. I also want to recognize Nicole and Shanta for providing outstanding customer service while helping me choose from their huge selection of meats. I think it was Nicole who told me I needed to buy more oxtail, but I didn't listen... and guess what? I had to come back the very next day because she was absolutely right! Thank you, Nicole and Shanta, for serving me with smiles, enthusiasm, and genuine kindness. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and you both absolutely knocked it out of the park. I can't wait for my next visit. You guys have earned a customer for life. I still went past it, then had to circle back. Inside was clean and bright, and surprisingly, not fishy-smelling. You order whatever you want at the counter, which is backed by boxes and boxes of frozen seafood, apparently for those who want large quantities, or restaurants. I was served promptly, and the man was very helpful. They were also well stocked on items you would need to cook seafood, like seasonings, etc. Check-out was easy, and the woman was even like - oh, are you the one who called? They have their own parking lot, but it's a bit beat up, and people seem to park every which way. There is a food truck in the parking lot which cooks up fresh seafood, and seafood boils. My game plan is to try that option next visit.
