Amazing employees, great food, decent coffee, but a victim of their stubbornness. Friendly Donuts is so old school and because of it, it takes forever to get in and out. Be warned, they also sell lottery and this makes wait times so much worse. It's sad because they're great people there, but waiting 5-7 minutes on average for a COFFEE is ridiculous. Be careful getting iced coffees (see attached image) on Saturdays and Sundays. The coffee for the iced coffee is pre-made (like a lot of shops do) on Fridays and used throughout the weekend. You can just taste how old and stale the coffee is. So disappointing. read more

Here is the thing about friendlys donuts the coffee is great the donuts are delicious and they have the best malasadas but it's in a terrible location , limited parking and always a lot of ghetto people going there. On multiple occasions there were people arguing there and sometimes the workers can be kinda rude. Friendly Donuts lives up to its name! As soon as we walked in we were happily greeted by the staff. Love that! The coffee was old school great- not a hipster joint for sure, more of an old school diner feel. I got a breakfast sandwich- sausage egg and cheese on a Portuguese roll, or as piping hot and so good! My GF got the linguica cheese sandwich and loved it. We also tried the honey dipped donut and it was so fresh and amazing. I searched for reviews or a website before visiting..To no avail. The reviews I could find said this was a good choice. They do accept credit cards and carry a full line of lottery. the donuts were fresh light and fluffy, a rarity in the middle of the day. The girls working the counter were very friendly and willing to help and informed me that they bake for another local bakery. This place is DELICIOUS and I loved everything about it - it's a perfect old school donut shop with amazing donuts! I'm really picky about donuts. I have a huge sweet tooth but I don't love the new donut shops with the crazy flavors and the major chains have definitely let go on their quality of donuts (as well as variety!). We were lucky to read about Friendly Donuts on Yelp after we discovered my favorite go-to for glazed donuts is closed except Sundays and we were so happy we found this place! They have a great selection of the classics - glazed, chocolate, crullers, jelly sticks and their coffee rolls were huge! I can't wait to try those next time as well as their linguica rolls! They were out of jelly sticks on the tray and I asked if they had any out back. (I normally wouldn't ask but they're so hard to find that I felt like I had to)! The baker said he'd be happy to make me one which he did really quickly by adding jelly and powdered sugar to a cruller! It was SO good! We bought 6 donuts and they were all delicious and cooked perfectly (2 jelly sticks, jelly donut, glazed, chocolate glazed, original cruller). The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and they had a line when we left - we can see why! They had plenty of seating and our toddler was eager to eat her donut so we sat down and enjoyed ourselves! We saw they had a drive through as well.
