He is professional, detail-oriented, and has a great sense of humor. The quote comprehensive and easy to understand, and there were no surprises at any point during the process. The team arrived on time every morning. Their work is meticulous from start to finish. They began by masking off all the surfaces that would not be painted with paper and plastic protection. They took great care of our furniture, moving and covering it carefully. They patched all the cracks and imperfections in our drywall to create a perfectly smooth surface. Then it was time to prime and paint. Our team was highly efficient--I was surprised by how quickly they were able to complete the job without cutting corners or otherwise sacrificing quality. We ended up not liking one of the colors we had chosen, and Junior was able to get the team back the next day to re-paint that room. The finished walls are beautiful. TL;dr - Go with Arana…read more I've used Arana on three projects. Each and every time, they've hit it out of the park with superb work done on schedule, great communication, and reasonable prices. I've also worked with several other painting contractors who managed to deliver exactly none of these. Even though they had solid reviews and made a great first impression. Arana is not going to be the lowest price option. But between the quality of the work and the other benefits of dealing with a super-professional, tightly managed operation, any small premium you pay is going to be money extremely well spent. A lesson I wish I had learned several jobs earlier! Better late than never, I suppose. But seriously, go with them. They are that good.

I really appreciated how thorough they were with the preparation--carefully taping everything, protecting the areas around the house, and making sure the surfaces were ready before painting. It was also very easy to work with them on choosing colors and having paint samples put on the house so we could see how everything would look before making a decision. Overall, great communication, quality work, and a very professional process at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Golden Gate Painting!
