Great painter!!! I had five quotes to paint the exterior of our two-story craftsman home. Daniel came highly recommended. His price was right in the middle, but he performed like it was at the top. Our house had colored stucco that wasn't installed properly and cracked horribly over the last decade. Daniel was able to fill the cracks and, after the final coat of paint, it's almost impossible to find them. Daniel is one of the rare professionals who really goes the extra mile to make sure that his customers are totally happy with his work. We had Daniel paint the entire exterior of our house, including numerous stucco repairs, all of the trim, and parts of the deck rails. He left his entire set of paint chips with us to select colors, and after we had narrowed it down he got samples and had his guys paint sections of the house so that we could see what the paint looked like in situ. Daniel and his team did a stellar job on our exterior. Since the house is covered with pigmented stucco, they needed to paint and prep only the windows, trim and doors. The guys were clean and polite and did a nice job. They finished it up in one week and also repaired some of the stucco that has cracked. I contracted Daniel and his crew to paint the entire exterior of a house in mid-Peninsula. He power washed the walls the first day, then spent the next 2 to 3 days removing chipped paint off of the window frames, doors, and walls. The critical part of a paint job is the preparation. He gets it right. He primed the bare areas especially the garage door which has a southern exposure and has the most wear from the sun and winter rains. Other areas with cracks and holes were patched. He uses 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Premium paint. The result is very nice. As long as you let him know everything up front, he will do an excellent job. His estimate came in $2000 below another highly rated paint contractor on Yelp, so I got a really good price for the same quality job. Bottom line: Would I go back to him for another paint job - yes! read more

After getting estimates from 4 painting contractors, I chose Daniel T. Cray Painting. His estimate to remove popcorn ceiling throughout my home, refinish and paint the ceilings and paint the walls, was very reasonable. Mr. Cray and his team got to work and were finished in just four days. I am impressed with his professionalism, speed and most of all, the beautiful paint job he and his crew did in my home. I'm giving only 4 stars, due to the fact that my solid wood furniture was not covered well while it was outside on the patio. Two of the pieces came back very wet because it rained for two days. Also, a few drops of paint were dripped on my carpet and a little paint sprayed on my wood TV cabinet. Daniel cares about painting and gives great advice. His company helped prep and then repaint the exterior trim, shutters, windows and rain gutters. They also repaired multiple areas of dry rot and also filled in cracks and seems with caulking. He was able to do this in a timely manner.
