I've reviewed this Fricker's before, but based on our poor visit last night, I wanted to review it again in hopes management sees this review and makes necessary changes... Let me first start by saying our service was great... Our server (Jessica) was awesome and was literally running a section of 10+ tables all by herself. We felt bad for her because the place is clearly understaffed, but she still handled service like a boss. Aside from Jessica though our visit was piss-poor (to say the least) and it's clear this location has gone completely downhill... To start, the cleanliness (or lack there of) was atrocious - The floors were sticky, the tables were disgusting (we literally wiped dirt off our table), and the restrooms were a complete catastrophe. Similarly, the food was disappointingly just as bad... The wings were so greasy to the point of being inedible. No one finished their food last night. I have no idea what happened to this Fricker's, but it's in need of drastic changes, an industrial cleaning, and a major facelift... This is not the Fricker's of old - Really disappointed because it used to be great. Sadly, we will not be back as Rooster's is exponentially better, always clean, and very well-managed. read more

Waited 15 mins from sitting down at a bar top table, finally ask the bartender who was on her phone if there was anyone working to wait on us. She went and about 6 mins later someone came out stating she wasn't our server but would get us drinks. Finally we met our server. Ordered and a table of 6 ordered after us. Basically the same food as us. Boneless wings and corn dogs and fries. They got their food and about another 15 mins we got ours. Love frickers. By far the worst one around. There is no sauce on the wings at all. I was told "oh there's sauce on the other side of the wing". Rumor has it management closely watches this location resulting in cutting costs by sacrificing the quality of their food. I have never been to a Frickers. The ambiance is fine. The service is fine. We ordered take out, which consisted of two chicken quesadillas, some mini corn dogs and churros. Let me discuss the quesadillas. If you are expecting what you might get a Tex-Mex place. . . don't. They good a normal tortilla and deep fried them. They were way over cook and the chicken was hard, dry and difficult to chew. The Queso (cheese) was largely missing. There was no warm, melty cheese as you would suspect. The corn dogs were also deep fried. They were not golden brown but rather a dark dark brown. This usually means the oil is OLD!!! IT tasted old too. All you could taste was the grease. Some of the hotdogs were burnt actually. The churros were good. Well, I can't say I will ever go back to Frickers. Sorry. read more

The appetizers were good. Fried zucchini and mozzarella sticks. The wings were overcooked and the fries were bland. The chicken noodle soup was also very bland. Honestly the worst, no workers were to be found when we first entered the restaurant. On top of that, we had to sit ourselves (there were no tables for us to even sit at because they were all dirty). The waitress didnt seem so happy with her job, she wiped down one side of the sticky dirty table after we asked her to. The food was not so great, the chili looked like poop out of a can. My wife and I stopped in here this evening, right after we dropped our kid off for basketball practice. We were lucky enough to get Allie as our server. She was awesome and her recommendations were spot on. We decided to have the pretzel bites as an appetizer, which were delicious. If you're looking for TVs, wings and beer this place does the job. Recently stopped in to catch a game of #MarchMadness and get a burger/beers and had a good experience. The wings are usually pretty good but I'll be honest, I think their burgers are underrated. Had those little hot pretzel bites with the cheese as an appetizer and they were delicious. Kinda surprised how many were in the basket too. I've always had good service at this location but yesterday was exceptional. Like an idiot, I left my debit card on the servers tablet when I left. Horrible food. Every time I go here it's a disaster. I used to love Frickers, but what is this?? The wings are barely sauced, or in my most recent delivery experience, totally unsauced. I ordered the old classic breaded wings with hot sauce and they came breaded, but dry as a bone with less than an ounce of sauce on the side. Who orders the restaurant-standard wings unsauced? Why even serve their signature dish like this?? The restaurant is just full of drunks who are fine with eating garbage. Go elsewhere, Roosters, BW3, KFC, ANYWHERE, if you want good chicken. Went there with my family this past Saturday, 23 December. The food was mediocre. I ordered a salad and when it came out, the plate was warm. I didn't think anything by of it and I was the only one at my table that ordered one. Well. The next morning I woke up and was deathly ill. I was the only one in my family that got sick. I got the Frickin' Chicken® Chunks with the medium sauce aka boneless wings and the Frickles aka Fried pickles. Both were very good. The chicken was quite tasty. The waitress was super nice. They weren't super quick but I think there may have only been one waitress for our whole area. But she did great! I'd go back again. Nice place, kinda dark inside. Needed maybe a little more light yo see the menu better. But all and all it was a good meal. read more

Stopped off last night on a trip back to Columbus. Despite not being open yet for the summer, we were able to be seated outside and provided exceptional service by Jackie. She was perfect and patient with my two young boys. The wings and appetizers were delicious and next time I may go a step or two above the hot sause. I've been a regular and frequent visitor of Fricker's since their inception in the early days in Moraine. Since then and especially lately the food has gone down hill, wings are small, dry and simply lousy. Boneless wings are merely half of what they used to be. The once great tasting Blue Cheese is God awful, definitely a recipe change.....not for the good. After hearing about the Frickin' Good time that can be had at Frickers, we finally had a night in Dayton to test it out. Armed with a frickin' big beer for $2.22 we were ready to begin our research. We didn't realize that we had showed up on Beach Night, so all the servers were adorned in bikini's and the place was decked out in all the finest luau decor to be found in Dayton. The bikini tops must have worked because the place was packed!! A DJ popped up out of nowhere, roaming the bar, looking for any willing participant for a hula competition all while jamming the latest in pop music. Interesting.... but somehow guzzlin' cheap beer always seems to make everything better, so we stayed on and did indeed have a frickin' good time! The TV's are huge and everywhere, making this a great place to watch a game, plus with the 22oz beers at $2.22, kids eat free always, and cheap bar food, I'm thinking that Frickers just about blows any other buffalo chicken wing type of establishment out of the water! read more

Went there late to catch something to eat and watch football. When you walk in, it is pretty much what you hope for a sports bar. Service was attentive. Beer was ice cold. Yum for the beer. Super cold. They carried Yuengling which was a bonus. Food....eh. We got the jalapeño caps and I would call them barely passable. 90% crisp and I couldn't even detects a jalapeño in some of them. I also got the BLT and again, it was nothing more than something to put in my stomach. Lots of bacon but it was so curly and crispy that it barely worked at all on the sandwich. It was rumored there were tomatoes on it but I'm not positive. Go for the game and enjoy beer and keep it at that. read more

If I could leave a rating with a negative star rating I would. This place is the worst ! We arrived about 1:30, the lunch rush was well over as there were very few cars in the parking lot. We walked in and there was no one to greet us, tell us to seat ourselves or even acknowledge us. Finally the bar maid yelled over the loud music for us to sit anywhere we want. We grabbed a high top table just off the bar and after 20 minutes we were still not acknowledged. They weren't busy at all just grossly under staffed. We waited another 5 minutes and walked out. The quintessential sports pub! Been to two of these local establishments here in Miamisburg...this one here on Ohio Rt. 725, and the other nearby Frickers on Ohio Rt. 741. Both were good, and both times I had their soup and salad...and a few of their $4.00 Long Island Iced Teas! The places are FILLED with TVs, and you just have multiple options to sit where you can watch your favorite sports or team. The young ladies that waited on me were polite and responsive, and did a great job taking care of my adult beverages! The location on Rt. 725 is much more upscale than the other location, and is virtually a short walk from my client's office...so I prefer that one the best. I will be going back as I find the sports bar shtick comfortable, the food good, and the drinks and service great. read more

Still a fan.. we came by Saturday evening after the Red's game and caught the end of the Uconn/Kentucky game.. We had a group of 6 and didn't have a problem finding a place to sit.. The shots are still small and ended up spending about $10 on a margarita for the wife because it came with a minute amount of alcohol in it.. so we had to order another shot to put in it. I've been a loyal customer since the early 90's (actually worked at the West Carrollton branch in college) and have been going to the Centerville location since 2004. I must admit, I came with low expectations. The name is frickin' weird. I am BWW fan through and through, but after this visit to Fricker's, I would not drive by a Frickers again to get to BWW. Ones not better than the other really. Both have a million TVs and big screens to watch sports on, games for kids of all ages to play, and great chicken wings. I was surprised as soon as I walked in to see the place was jammin'!!!! I like to be among crowds having fun and Frickers was no exception. People were having a blast! As a Michigander, I had never heard of this place. As I visited the Dayton area more and more (it's where my wife is from) I kept seeing signs for this place. The name sounded childish and hokey, but I somehow was intrigued to try it out. My stomach is glad that I did. The place is very sports themed. We went on a Sunday and the place was packed with Browns, Bengals, and even some Steelers fans. There are more TVs than lightbulbs so you'll be able to catch whatever team you're rooting for. I asked our server what beers they have and she dropped down a sheet of paper that had a list big enough to rival a good bar. +5 points for that. I decided to go with a Black and Blue (Guinness and Blue Moon) and as I saw the server bringing the drink back I could only see the top of the glass. It was full of foam and I thought, "Great, they just lost those five points." But instead, when she came to the table, the glass was FRICKIN' HUGE and the foam was just the top 5% of the glass. It was a perfect poor and the Black and Blue stayed separated the entire meal. Another +5 points. So the place is known for their chicken wings and I'm not going to go there and order a burger. They do a great job of offering three ways to get the wings. Standard, naked (which means no breading), and boneless. One fairly big negative in my book was that I couldn't order my boneless in two different sauces. I had to get all 10 in the same style. I ordered the Medium which had a good amount of kick but nothing intense. The chicken was cooked perfectly too.
