Instead I spend 2 hours doing research and talking to my insurance. Here's what happens if you have a glass chipped or cracked. You call Mesko's and make sure they are open. You come in. They call your insurance and take care of the paperwork. Then they fix your glass in 15 minutes. Done. Insurance often waves the deductible if you repair a chip. This place is so much more professional and friendly then the Safelite. They actually know what they are doing. They would not try to repair a wet glass outside at your parking lot, where it will crack for sure. Highly recommended.

But it gets better. Once installed, the workers pointed out a few very slight smudges BETWEEN the double panes they said probably had not been noticed during the fabrication process. We most likely would not have noticed the smudges either until we cleaned the window weeks later... if then lol At their own initiative the workers said the glass would be replaced (no added charge) and 2 weeks later they returned with new, smudge-free glass.
