Broken machines, dirty interior, unethical advertising.
Flat out: don't come here unless it is absolutely your only option. If you told me this place was a front for money laundering, I'd believe you without a doubt.
I have never seen an employee here. Ever. There is a room labeled "Security Office" that I have not seen a single person enter or exit. I once spent 4 hours there on a week day waiting for 6 loads and didn't see anyone at all.
The machines are probably 40-50% broken throughout the building. The last time I was there, an 80lb machine broke in the middle of a cycle, leaving my clothes soaking with soap and ripping two dress shirts up inside. I had to throw them in the trash. That machine cost $8 to pay for the cycle, and then I had to take those clothes out and split them into two separate machines, totaling $10 more dollars and adding 45 minutes to the amount of time I had to waste there.
The signs on the front advertise that they offer a $1.75 wash option. That is only true for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but you don't find that out until you get inside.
There are no bathrooms and no outlets. So if you want to wait for your clothes, I hope you brought a book and a bottle to go in! (This is a joke, but I did see a man urinate in the bottle while I was there... so I guess that's fine.)
I wish I had a nicer laundromat near my house, but now I drive out of my way to avoid them. Stay away! read more
