They get eggs locally from Abbotsford colony farm, fresh apple cider, grass fed meats and so much more! Service and staff are always so friendly and so I decided to give the delivery service a try since if you purchase over 100+ it's free delivery locally. Great service, delivered food next day at 11:30am, the driver followed my deliver instructions and besides not having Roma tomatoes they subbed for hot tomatoes and added 2 more free of charge, I didn't mind since I just needed a tomato. At 8am today hardly any shopping baskets when you come out n main entrance and ones that were there had garbage in most of them. Again lazy staff. Vegetables like celery and broccoli rubbery to the touch always. Mushrooms are always spotted and brown In the bakery this morning I found a chocolate cake that was 3 days past best before date. Not the first time I have seen this all over the store. When I pointed it out to staff they seemed like they didn't care. Poor management and poor work ethics would be my guess to these problems. I've been shopping here for 4 years now and have seen these problems start a few years ago. Probably going to start shopping elsewhere.

I spent the summer flying for San Juan Airlines and I would often find myself on Orcas Island…read moreneeding to get some food. I frequented their soup and hot bar and I was always left satisfied. They had good options, ranging from ribs, corn dogs, orange chicken, and taquitos, as well as different soups. Unlike everywhere else on Orcas Island, the food here was always a good price ans didn't feel like expensive, "island pricing". I understand many people come here to shop and I can say that the grocery prices seemed to be comparable to prices you'd find on the mainland at Fred Meyer. The staff was always nice and friendly and the store itself was clean, well kept and organized. Sitting right in the heart of Eastsound makes it quite convenient as well. I definitely appreciated the sitting area to eat my food from the hot bar in the front of the store. My only major gripe was though they had wifi, no employee over my months of visiting was ever able to recall what the password was to access it which I found quite annoying. Otherwise, its a good store with a good hot bar for a quick lunch!
