DH Supermarket sell a big range of fruit and veggies so if you are in the area and can't get to another fruit and veggie store it will do the trick. They also have lots of grocery items including an extensive Asian range of products. Another plus for DH Supermarket is that their prices are low. Parking is right outside the big yellow store.

Food4Less sells a great deal of bulk food, spices and rice, which I shop there for (and their incense come to think of it, they have a lot... as too Bollywood movies, Hindu statues and posters, etc, Like I said, it is not your average supermarket). Some of the isles do take on the 'cheap and nasty' feel, but don't let it put you off, go in for yourself and have a look. Halal meat is on offer too.

Like any truly good dairy they sell ice cream on the cone, not just premade ice creams in the fridges. Heaps of flavours, get a double or a triple, just make sure you don't spill it in the car down those windy Piha roads. For this reason, and its convenient location, I frequently shop there. The response yesterday on calling in to return a loaf of gluten free bread recently purchased has left me feeling offended and extremely disappointed. The problem?? I didn't have my receipt. This would have been ideal but I didn't anticipate a problem with this purchase. Despite prompt refrigeration and being opened well before it's 'use by' date the sliced loaf was Inedible. It had basically collapsed from the inside out and surprisingly also showed mould spores which I've never encountered with this brand before. I accept most retailers will ask for a receipt for returns. However as a regular customer and familiar face I thought the manager would have been more receptive, and trust that I wasn't being dishonest about where I bought it, and at least hear me out and discuss the matter before making an instant decision to offer no refund. I expected the process would have been to return the product to the manufacturer for assessment. Because of the way this was handled, SuperValue Titirangi has unfortunately lost a loyal customer.

Well supervalue supermarkets are a gift from above. They are usually in a suburb ready to sell the basics such as bread, veges and the extras. It is a big dairy but a small supermarket. The prices are a bit high but from time to time they are sales on the bikkies and other products. It is a local place so the staff start to know you and they are all super friendly and helpful. I once had a hard time finding all the ingredients for the black forest cake I was baking. The lady at the counter helped me and even offered alternatives.

Their prices are reasonable, staff try to help where possible but won't go out of their way; communication breakdown's have happened a couple of times for me.
