It's like it started with the whole Superette idea, and was like what else can we tack onto the other side of the store so we can fill up the rest of the room available to us? The Superette half is filled with all the usual stuff you would expect from such a place, Icecreams, chips, lollies, cold drinks etc and then (I'm going to surprise myself by saying this, but the juice bar isn't half bad). Tacky as all hell, and not really up to the same 'hip' standard as places like 'Tank' but the juices are actually pretty good. Though a little more expensive than you would come to expect from an everyday dairy so that could be worked on. I personally quite like the smoothies, I tried the avocado lover which was risky, this was a mix of avocado, banana, apple, honey and frozen yogurt and which was again surprisingly good. I always find a lovely range of food, from fresh to packaged in their mini supermarket, eg - bacon, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, salami, fresh herbs, and a large selection of juice, water and soda. You can find just about anything you need for baking cakes, and cookies with the kids, if your looking for a good magazine they have a large selection. I'm always served with a friendly smile and a chat about my day. The store also has a wonderful assortment of candy and chocolate and ice cream for the sweet tooth shopper. Like everything's in its spot on its shelf ready and waiting for you. The selection at this place is so good it's annoying. Don't go in there thinking you're going to grab a quick little treat and be off... because you may find yourself gawping at the shelves of goodies for an eternity wondering which cheap treat you're going to allow yourself. I usually come out with a heck of a lot more than I went in looking for. The location is obviously another big plus. Right on East Coast Road, on your way to and from wherever you're gallivanting to, it's super easy to stop in for a quickie. A quick purchase that is. When you can't be bothered queuing up at Countdown to buy a bottle of water/newspaper/bottle of milk etc, for a few cents more you can buy the same thing quickly and conveniently from one or other of the large number of extended family members that own/run this shop. I would say they stock quite a limited range of products, but I think that's due to space as the shop was cut in half a few years ago to make room for Coin World next door. Still all the basics are here, you can't go wrong.

This dairy is superbly stocked with literally everything a desperate shopper could need, from ice creams to magazines, chocolates to postage stamps, Cadbury chocolates, lollies and veggies. The community notice board outside the window has local business and community information displayed. On a nice day you can sit outside and eat or drink your purchase. Parking is right out front if the space is free, otherwise plenty of street parking in Whenuapai.

And the lady asked if we wanted a bag and my boyfriend answered "yes" but she ignored him completely even after acknowledging what he said and looked to me seeking the answer. These are a few examples of the racism he has faced and it infuriates me so badly knowing things like this are still happening.
