Stirfry veggies
Maria C.

Came in and ordered soup and mushroom chicken and stirfry veggies for 1.25 more, went to registered paid for my food, 27.00 later and only got stir fry veggies. Lady explained that stir fry veggies is a 2 item combo and she forgot to charge me for soup. She said I can give you rice and noodles with 2 item combo, I said I don't want that I ordered mushroom chicken and soup and paid extra for stir fry noodles. She said well you can pay for mushroom chicken, I said I paid 27.00 for stir-fry veggies? They had a new girl there and she didn't know ,I said well you knew what I ordered and charged me for it. I still walked out with just stirfry veggies.. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN.. TRAIN YOUR DAMN PEOPLE!

Food is delicious. Genuinely the only Chinese food I like and will not pick at. And haven't had to wait to long each time I've gone.

Prices are a little high and they also charge extra for sauce, the egg rolls where burnt. Probably the oil when they cooked them was old.

Food was bland with no flavor, noodles where sticky, rice was over cooked. Just stay away there should be other places to eat.

We got the stir-fried beef noodles, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the fried buns with condensed milk, and every dish was on point. The stir-fried beef noodles were the star -- super tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and great wok flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and filled just right, and the pot stickers were juicy with that perfect sear on the bottom. The fried buns were surprisingly good too -- warm, fluffy, and even better dipped in the condensed milk. The restaurant is clean, service was quick, and the food looks as good as it tastes (photo attached!). Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving solid dim sum dishes

Beef potstickers: Appealing looking but awkward to eat and seemed prepared from frozen. The meat was a little roll floating in the middle of the thick wonton wrapper. Pan fried on one side, a bit rubbery. Shredded Cucumber salad with garlic flavor was good with decent fresh cucumber. Scallion pancakes. Greasy. Unable to detect any scallion or onion flavor so I opened it. Tiny specs of what had to be those dried chives or green onion flakes. Scant amount. This is a simple, cheap fix for a usually delightful side order: Just chop up some fresh green onions and throw them in there. Easier on the oil & these would've been pretty good. Wouldn't order this unless they revamp this simple app. Distracting banging around of pots and pants in background. I guess it was pot washing time. Several customers ordered the dim sum and maybe that's the way to go. It's a no go for me.

We paid $18 per person on Sunday. Waste of money. Would have have better food at 7/11. Idk what the name is, but it's imitation crab, huge shrimp, Napa cabbage, some kind of cream (guessing mayo/sour) and LOADS of cheese. You may be skeptical. I was too. But when I tried it, HOLY MOTHER! I was craving it, and was in the area. I had my mom call, since I'd never been and didn't know the name. Christina was super sweet, and packed it for me not going home straightaway (ice). I'll be honest, I have tried some other buffet items. Mother brought me a plate. It was ok. Nothing I'd crave in particular, based on items not picked out by myself. But the casserole makes you wanna slap ya momma!!! I will say the place is VERY clean, bathrooms too. Ma also swears by their macaroons, and buys containers of those. Hesperia is one of those places that's just there, I don't know anyone who's deliberately gone, and that's not disrespect, just my perspective. The restaurant is 3 miles from 15, so you would be deliberately going there. If you're in the area, or passing through, call and see if they have it. It's my understanding it's not an every day item. Also they had buffet food out today, and I thought restaurants were just doing take out/delivery/drive thru. But what do I know? I'm just gonna stick to my casserole that I put in the oven and add extra cheese too, cause that's how I roll. I'll post a pic soon.

The proteins in the soup consisted of chicken and shrimp. There was plenty of meat for sure. The veggies were broccoli, celery, carrots, baby corn, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. The light broth had a good flavor as well. When I got this home, I found the container was 32 ounces filled to the brim. I added an avocado and lime juice to brighten the flavors but it was fine as is. It was one of the best valued wonton soups at under $10, considering the generous amount of ingredients in the soup. Highly recommended. I also ordered a Three Entree Combo meal. I had Orange Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, and BBQ Pork with sides of steamed rice and chow mein. The batter on the Orange Chicken was thick but it had a crispy crunch. Mushroom Chicken had mostly meat with just a few pieces of mushrooms and zucchini. BBQ Pork was seasoned well and tender with a few pieces of thick pork fat. These provided a textural contrast but are easily removed if desired. Not too sweet as well which is a plus. The ordered Veggie Egg Rolls were good with a ginger flavored filling. Overall, this combo was a satisfying meal with plenty of leftovers for later. Overall, a good experience with the food here. This Golden Chopstix location is on my list for a return visit, especially for the delicious Wonton Soup.

Today I ordered the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce with tofu lunch special. It came with an egg flower soup, egg roll, crab Rangoon, and choice of steamed or fried rice. The eggplant and tofu were cut in small pieces but the dish tasted good overall. The garlic sauce was savory. I also wanted to order their Shredded Pork with Rice Noodle dish off of their Korean menu. I had it before but, due to a miscommunication with the waitress, I ended up with Japchae instead. The Japchae was actually excellent, well made with a noticeable amount of wok caramelization flavor. The sweet potato glass noodles had a firm, chewy texture and provided a nice contrast with the tender pieces of pork and stir fried vegetables. I will probably order Japchae again even though I don't think this is a regular menu item. It is highly recommended. Service is polite and efficient.
