Maybe she should retire . I've been in medicine 49 years so I would think she would at least pretend to care and interact with her patient. I wasn't told what labs would be drawn just some lady came in stuck me missed , frustrated her she left .. then came back and stuck the other arm . ( I'm a very easy stick !) Oh still do not know what labs would be? It was horrible ! What ashamed! Then she tells me she can't prescribe my Add med ? I've been on for 25 years . What ? Oh ok .. Humm .. who does that ? Also why would u increase med if it's only 4 pts over on cholesterol? And I don't know the total cholesterol that drastic ? Still don't knew what all my blood work is or what was drawn . One of those people you are immediately at ease with. She always makes me feel like I'm in good hands! She's very thorough when it comes to getting a full picture of my health, and seems to have a lot of knowledge about current research. She's not just there to write a script and send you on your merry way...she actually listens to you and even picks up on things you don't think to mention. Front desk staff and nurses are also very sweet and welcoming! Even the phlebotomist is wonderful, I have to get blood taken frequently and have difficult veins to find so I have some horror stories...but she always finds my veins on the first stick. The wait times are excellent, I arrived early for a morning physical and they took me almost right away, about 15 minutes before my appointment, then I was in and out in an hour (which I appreciated as I had to get to work). I've tried several doctor's offices in Alpharetta and am relieved that I've finally found one I both like and trust. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommended!

All of the practictioners here take different types of insurance, some take Medicare and Medicaid, and have different hours and availability. I have been a patient of Darrin Bronfman, LCSW for over 9 years now. We meet together on a weekly basis to address issues related to my diagnosed bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and PTSD. During the years i have taken jobs which required travel or had medical issues that kept me homebound and we still met via phone or Skype on a weekly basis. Mr. Bronfman has always made himself available for after hours coaching in emergency situations by email or phone. He takes more of a psychodynamic approach to therapy, combining cognitive behavioral and DBT concepts in as well. I have improved significantly in the last few years thanks to his coaching and support. Mr. Bronfman has also successfully met with friends and family members of mine over the years to help them understand my illness and behavior. For several years I was in a dating relationship and Mr Bronfman referred us to one of his trainees for couples counseling. The trainee was well educated and supervised throughout her work with us. She helped us come to the difficult yet necessary decision that our relationship was not sustainable. We appreciated her guidance and were able to remain friends beyond. The trainee has since gone on to maintain her own successful practice elsewhere thanks to her experience at Pathway. I attribute the work Ive done with Darrin to be critical to the improvements I have made in my illness, improvements I have made as a human being and in my personal and professional relationships. 9 years ago I could not hold down a dating relationship or job - now I work full time and have positive interpersonal interactions in all areas of my life. Due to a condition of mine, I was turned away from many offices without even being given a chance because the psychiatrists didn't "feel comfortable" treating me, the diagnosis was new and the reaction from so many professionals was disheartening and I was really afraid that I would not be able to find someone who would see me, despite nothing having changed about me except for what was on paper. I am very grateful for those closed doors, since it lead me here. I have been supported through everything while at this office; including insurance being pains in everyones' butts and nosy pharmacists too! I cannot say enough good things about how they treat their patients here, and I have been working with Dr. Fareed for close to 2 years now- I can say with confidence that he cares about his practice and that he actually listens. He doesn't rush through appointments and he is always kind. He can be firm in his judgment, as he should be; this means he is confident in his approach. I personally have found so much success and a new improved quality of life after trusting the process. My initial doctor was Dr. Kang, who was super kind and helpful in determining my surgeon for my gall bladder surgery. The next appointment was with Dr. Michelle who happens to be an NP but she was EXTREMELY kind. I went in for heartburn issues and she seemed worried and concerned that I was sick -- something that most doctors don't do. Ever since then, I've been going to this office. I moved out of Johns Creek 7 years ago and have been living in Lawrenceville & Dunwoody, and I must say I am always impressed with this office.

I am extremely disappointed in this facility as it relates to sleep study testing. I came in for a…read moresleep study. I live with someone who is extremely ill and asked all staff if they would wear a mask in the room while attending to me. They agreed, but proceeded to not wear a mask the entire visit. I currently use a CPAP and explained this multiple times in preparation for the study. They explained that my referral was written for a diagnostic study, and I would not be put on a CPAP unless there was an emergency. In the middle of the night, I struggled to breathe and woke up out of my sleep, gasping for air multiple times. This is expected as I have extremely bad sleep apnea. I explained to the technician what was happening. She simply shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. I can tell she had just woken up herself. This is not my first sleep study. In the past when I struggled to breathe, they put me on a CPAP is an intervention. I have a neurological condition that makes me extremely light sensitive. At the end of the study, she turns on bright fluorescent lights at 4:50 AM and tells me it's time to go. She says that I will need to come back to re-do the study because I never got in a deep enough sleep. She then proceeds to give me a paper to rate my experience. It's hard to get into a deep sleep when you can't breathe. As professionals they should've recognized that. This honestly feels like a ruse to get more money from my insurance company. Now I will have to look for another provider and complete this study all over again.
