Rachel was so knowledgeable, thorough and attentive. I was so happy with my treatment and felt so comfortable and taken care of. I have gotten the same treatment before at a different med spa and I don't feel like I was given the same level of care that I was given at Viso Med Spa. Thank you so much Rachel for great service and for a great treatment! I highly recommend this spot to others! If only I lived in Calgary this would be my go-to place.

At the time of the appointment, my first impressions of the place is small, but quaint, well lit and welcoming. The staff provided me consultation and advised not to take the microdermabrasion due to my face skin concerns. She advised me to take a more efficient treatment when I told her my goal for my face skin. After the 1st session, she recommended me to try their product and I am glad I took the risk without researching into their product as it was working effectively & efficiently. On my 2nd session, she noticed my improvements prior to my first visit and proceeded to enhance my session and made me try on new concepts that could further enhance my face skin goal and it did it again, I was impressed. Overall, after a month's treatment & following her recommendation in improving face skin health I am satisfied. I notice the improvements & I will be coming back to maintain a health face skin.

I have been a long time client coming here to Britannia for all my Botox and filler needs however,…read morerecently I was paired with the worse injector for filler. It's crazy how one injector can ruin the whole experience and almost your face. I forgot her name because I haven't been assigned her for filler before but I showed her a photo of a beautiful influencer I loved her face shape and it was slim feminine with a nice defined side jaw line. My face shape is not far from this influencers face shape just wanted it more defined and emphasized slim and feminine. This injector did it so poorly that it made my jawline more masculine and poorly distributed that it's lumpy! It's one thing to be a good injector and look out for the best interest of your clients to say realistically if it's obtainable through filler or make the right suggestion but she clearly didn't and proceeded to do something she probably hasn't done before and ruining a clients face. It's been 2 weeks and I was thinking it must just be the swelling that has it looking lumpy and chipmunky but it's definitely not I can feel how uneven the filler is and even my friends who saw me said they thought I just gained weight and my face isn't as slim as before and very uneven! I spend $1600 this was not the result I was expecting and it made my face worse than it was before. I'll be booking an appointment to get this dissolved asap and finding out the name of that injector to include in this review but she was an older lady with blond hair BEWARE!

sadly, in 2019 I had the unfortunate experience of having my eyebrows microbladed by Crystal at The…read moreBamboo Retreat and Spa as part on of her models for her experienced microblading course for The Esthetic Institue. In the beginning I did not know the full process of microblading and did not pick up on how badly Crystal was trained, she drew my eyebrows on, they were kind of blocky but she told me not to worry as it's just a template. She did absolutely no mapping and then put the numbing cream on. Come to when she started doing my eyebrows, they looked ok very dark and swollen but I couldn't see the true extent of what she had done, fast forward to two days after I notice how uneven and completely different shaped my eyebrows were. I was upset and messaged Crystal saying that I need them fixed and evened out ASAP or I would be going through with putting polysporin on my brows to remove them (her suggestion) she told me she would book me in for the Monday to fix my eyebrows-less than a week after I got them done, which is against what any other eyebrow tech l've spoken to would do. I confronted her about this and told her I didn't want her going near my face again. I messaged the school and they completely dismissed the fact that I wasn't happy with Crystals work and told me they thought it was great. First of all I don't know how anyone could feel comfortable giving a certification to someone who produces the kind of work Crystal produces and second of all how they can completely dismiss the horrible work she did without any offer to fix or remove it, which is needed. In the attached pictures you will she where she used such a heavy hand that the ink migrated, how she used to thick of a blade and too dark of ink and how truly uneven and terrible my eyebrows Now almost 6 years down the line I have gone for multiple removals with absolutely no avail, Due to how deep she put the ink. Have dealt with my eyebrows completely migrating again because of how deep she put the ink and have no option other than to cover my eyebrows up if I ever want to feel good about myself, which takes over an hour out of my day. And this is what my eyebrows are looking like Today, April, 6 2025. At this point in time, I have gone in for three saline removals, That did not work in the slightest because she put the ink too deep, On top of that, you can see the obvious migration of the ink because again, of how deep she put it. On top of all of that, I've looked into getting laser removal, which would be costing me over $2000 because Crystal botched my eyebrows with no actual guarantee that the removal will even work. My biggest insecurity are the eyebrows that Crystal put on my face, I spent over an hour every day covering them up with make up just so I feel confident enough to go outside and I have done so for the past six years of my life, All because Crystal took advantage of me and guaranteed me something that she could not produce. Crystal is now working out of Strands & I feel that their clientele should be able to know what she has done so she can't just do it to someone else.

She did not promise me they would all be gone, and went into some detail about what the treatment could and could not do. Her honesty and caution were the biggest reasons I went with Skinpossible, after consulting with 3 other skin care salons whose promises seemed over the top. . However, after having received 4 out of 5 treatments, I have to say that it has been a total waste of $2000. There was a very slight improvement after the first treatment but absolutely nothing noticeable after the subsequent three. The fact that my skin is over 60 is certainly a significant factor, but I have serious doubts that even a younger person would have had good results with this treatment. If your budget doesn't matter to you, go ahead. But best to head into something like this realistically.
