Today I gave it one more chance to get a fresh salad from the bar. Not only is the place completely deserted inside, I only saw one other customer at lunch, the salad bar was absolutely horrible. The lettuce was all wilted, the chicken that I got tasted very old and stale, and many of the previous salad bar items are now gone. Their pizza counter used to serve several fresh items and now they're only serving pizza the rest of the grill is closed down. The man that was working at the pizza counter checked me out for my salad and never said one word to me. If this place isn't about to close down, it will be soon. Again, I've given it several chances and it keeps going downhill on each visit.

I had not been here for quite some time except to buy gas. I was told that they have the best Reuben sandwich in Northwest Arkansas. I stopped in and the interior looked dark and not quite open for business. The hot food area was so dark and empty that I thought it was closed - and this was just after lunch time- around one. When I asked an associate, she yelled a gentleman's name and he came slowly wandering out of the back kitchen. I asked for a Reuben sandwich and he did not speak to me or acknowledge me and acted like my order was imposing on him. He moved slower than any human that I have ever seen in the food or restaurant business - he ambled slowly around to find the ingredients. I need to mention that he was helping absolutely no one but me at this time - lucky me. At last he finished the sandwich, wrapped it up and dropped it in front of me on the counter. I picked it up and walked to the register to pay. I did mention to the blonde associate that the sandwich gentleman was unfriendly and unmotivated - she apologized. Having said that, when I did try to open the sandwich there was so much liquid pouring out of it that I had a hard time opening the wrapping. The bread was a little soggy from the kraut juice but the sandwich itself was quite delicious - I would give it a four. Minus the soggy bread, it was the best Reuben that I've had in this area and the surrounding states. I would give customer service from the sandwich guy a 1 - only because he made the sandwich. This shop does have a wide selection of beverages and food items that you can't find at other restaurants or gas stations. They have a fresh salad bar which is very good, a gelato case and fresh made sandwiches. I hope they can motivate the sandwich guy. The ingredients and flavor of the Ruben was delicious.

The last time I was in I ordered a half half pizza and they accidentally forgot to do it half half and without even saying anything to us beforehand, they went ahead and made a second pizza to make up for it. It was really kind. It was for our kids so it was really great they just corrected it. The place is kind of dive bar-y but like in a charming home town spot kind of way. I always find a new sticker or something silly to enjoy on the walls when I'm there. Also their bathrooms are really clean which is a plus for this momma. I love love their pizza. everyone i've had has been so tasty and yummy. Their ranch is also really good too. They have cheesy bread to start and its very tasty.

He specifically said The Rail, and that they had "train beers", which meant every time a train passes by their restaurant they offer $2 beers. More importantly he said their pizza was terrific. We stopped here for lunch. I was with two coworkers and got lucky to get a spot right in front of the property. Mary Kate was our server and she was friendly, professional, and helpful. She informed me that they had really great wings. I grew up in WNY so I accepted that challenge. She did say that if we liked them spicy their hot sauce flavor needed to be punched up. We started with the caprese appetizer which came with 4 stacks so it was tasty. Mary Kate brought out the wings (we only Ordered 6, and they apparently make their own blue cheese dressing) shortly after we finished the caprese so timing was great, because our pizza came out after we were finishing up with the wings. The caprese was great, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese with balsamic vinegar- can't go wrong with that when everything is so fresh. The wings? Dynamite! Mary Kate was not wrong, they could've been spicier but they were so good. Crunchy exterior, well cooked and sauced but still perfect. (Not lying, we debated going back before our flight out that night to get more wings...and looking back we definitely should have, since we were delayed for a while). Our pizza choice was the cheeseburger and we got a 10" because we all thought we were not super hungry. But as we received it, I wished we went for the 16". Mustard based sauce, ground beef, and tomatoes and lettuce put on after so it was a nice hot/cold juxtaposition when eating it. I used the blue cheese dressing for my crusts, which is what we do in Rochester NY. Wish they would bottle that dressing. I can help them package and sell it, as that's my chosen job. I realize that we dug right into the pizza and I forgot to take a pic but trust me it was really looking good. We were really not expecting much going in, but super glad we did! Great service, dynamite food, and not too much where our meeting that went 3+ hours caused any issues. I highly recommend this spot, go with the wings and unique pizza offerings. Big shoutout to Macy (forgive me if it's Marcy, my memory is failing me there), who greeted us as the host, was our server, and was on bartending duty and made us a great mocktail as well. She made us feel very welcome and got us what we needed with a great attitude. As my wife put it, this place has "good bones." I liked the atmosphere and I overall enjoyed the flavor of the food. I had one of the specials, a steak and mushroom risotto. I was a bit saddened by the grey color of the steak, improper cook, and the rice was slightly undercooked, but I did enjoy the flavors and I wouldn't say they were far off from nailing it. Another gentleman, not sure if he was the manager or owner, checked on us as well and had a good sense of humor. Overall a good experience and we are definitely rooting for this place! I would love to dine here again to try more.

He started with the Joe's Italian restaurant in Springdale on Hwy 412 which burned his next was on Wedington in Fayetteville. After he expanded in the area, he sold the business to others. They were unable to maintain his quality and have all closed. If you ever ate at any of the original restaurants you would remember the huge garlic rolls served hot to the table while you wait. Those are served here. They make going there worth the trip without having anything else. But, you're gonna want something else, believe me!!! The food speaks for itself. All servings are large and delicious. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful. This is a win-win experience.

My daughter ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and she thought it was a bit bland. I agree with her . Portions are generous. We couldn't finish our food. Our waitress was very pleasant but service overall seemed very scattered prior to being seated. Everyone was running around , looking confused. We actually came few days prior and were turned around despite calling ahead to confirm hours. After driving for 12 hours ( vacation) we didn't want to drive for nothing . This place needs better customer service and better communication among their staff. Other than that, I think it's a place worth visiting.

Great recommendations and when the special we ordered was sold out we were able to change the fish for the same prep. Started with a blueberry margarita, which was tart but excellent. I like grapefruit (I peel it like an Orange and eat the wedges without sugar) so right up my alley. Even my wife (who doesn't like grapefruit) loved this drink. Had the Ceviche app. Really good. I am kind of a ceviche expert (have been eating it and a similar food called kelaguin all over the world) and this may be the best we have had in the States. We shared the lobster ravioli and a pecan crusted red snapper (the monkfish was sold out) and both were great. Ravioli was exceptional. Three pieces, shrimp and perfect sauce. Lots of lobster in the filling. The snapper which again was the substitute for the monkfish was light with a more subtle flavor but was served with really good mashed potatoes and broccoli. Unfortunately the ravioli came out first (had to change the fish so slight delay) so the strength of the ravioli flavor would have been better as the second shared entree due to the subtleness of the pecan crusted snapper. But really that is not a complaint. Tight rooms, packed with tables and people. Even so not too loud to have a conversation and everyone was super nice. We will eat here again next time we visit.

The presentation of the rolls was horrible--looked like it was made on an assembly line without any care for what made it onto each individual piece of the roll. The rolls also just weren't made well and many of the pieces fell apart after attempting to pick them up. Worst part of the whole thing was the embarrassing attempt to have lemon be apart of the rolls. The lemon slices were big and non-uniform--they looked like they belonged slotted on the rim of a glass of water not on a sushi roll. Instead of providing a nice hint of tartness, the lemon just overpowered any other flavor. Beyond that, they were just carelessly strewn across the top of the roll, so the coverage for individual pieces was laughable. Horrible experience. Up until this time, I would have been recommending Blu over Junto, but now I'm not even sure it ranks higher than Sushi House. Don't plan to be back anytime soon.
