This tiny flower shop I've been to several times over the years picking up their ready to go bouquets. Usually an impulse purchase when getting food from Big Rob's or Taqueria El Rancho. My wife's dad passed away last Saturday and on Monday a BEAUTIFUL vase full of flowers showed up to our house. My friend sent them to us. I have no idea how much he spent but this was a top notch flower arrangement with all sorts of interesting flowers. 5 days later and they still look pretty much as fresh as they were on Monday except some of the closed flower buds are now open in full bloom. After having a bad experience with this location the owner, Sherif reached out to me via Yelp message. He badgered me, called me a liar and claimed I didn't go to his flower shop. Here's the experience, I went to the location to have a bouquet made for my mom's birthday. Instead of a pleasant greeting I received poor customer service. I initially went to the location because I had stopped at the pizza shop to get some lunch. I figured while there I could pick up some flowers for my mom and save some time by accomplishing two things at once. Instead, I left the location and went to another florist where I was treated far better. Soon after I left my initial neutral 3 star review, Sherif contacted me and the insults began in the messages. If you look at my review history you'll see the majority of my reviews are positive experiences, but in this case I can't recommend this location because of the owners demeanor that continued even after the transaction ended. It got to the point that I had to block him and report him to Yelp. This experience caused me to review my original 3 stars to a 1 star rating. The lovely missus wants to bring flowers to the Memorial. Her younger brother passed away. We stopped at the "Fresh Cut Flkwers" corner kiosk and we were met by a young person. He helped the missus select two large colorful mixed fragrant stemmed flowers amidst fillers of green in festive wrapped vases. The colors are important in the selection process. It was an easy transaction using a CC. The young gentleman offered to help me carry one of the vases to the car. This place always caught my eyes whenever I drove down Goldenwest, but I never had the chance to check it out. I finally dropped by today (yes, on new year) to get some sunflowers for a friend's birthday. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and accommodating. He made the bouquet of sunflowers and eucalyptus branches with baby's-breaths so visually pleasing. Pricing was also very reasonable ($20.12 for that bouquet! That's a steal!) First time I went to this place, it was a Sunday, 16:30. The lady refused to sell me the flowers because she started to close the shop. I insisted, saying that I would pay cash and she did not accept it either. Second time (my bad returning to this place, I know). I picked up some roses ( overpriced ) and required some eucalyptus and asked about some other options for my flowers. The lady (again) was rude and very unkind, she seemed to be bored about me looking at options to enhance my flowers. Came here at 5:00pm on Valentine's Day. Goal was to get here earlier but traffic was heavier than usual since that day also coincided with Ash Wednesday. When I originally placed the order in advance, I was informed that they didn't have pink roses (I wanted an arrangement with red and pink roses and stargazer lilies) in stock so I settled on lavender instead. Horrible customer service! I am living out of state and called them to delivered flowers to my mom on her 46th birthday. 8:30am: called to order the flowers 44$ total including 12$ delivery fee, Nick told me to come pick up my receipts, I told him I am from out of state and if he can just email or text me the receipt. He said he is not able to do that. 11:45am: flowers delivered 11:46am: mom called and sent pictures of how old the flowers looked. 11:50am: called the flower shop and talked to Nick, he said that can't be true and I asked if he wanted to redeliver the flowers or come grab them and give me my refund. I told him my mom sent me picture proofs and I can forward the pictures to him, he agreed (though I thought we couldn't exchange numbers?) - he said he will have his person come grab the flowers and will issue a full refund. NO APOLOGY WAS GIVEN 12:10pm: his supervisor called, screaming at the top of his lungs calling me a "liar liar liar, you're a liar" while I was finishing up my clinicals. I had to excuse myself out of class as most of my classmate heard his tone of voice. - I explained to him again what happened and it was his associate that offered the refund. He told me no refund will be issued, even if I take it up with my discovered card. I calmly asked him to lowered his voice and that is not good customer service if he's screaming at a 24 year old (he sounded much older than 30). 12:30pm: I called my discovered to let them know what had happened, told them to keep an eye out if I don't get my refund, I will dispute. 12:45pm: another missed called from the supervisor - I am now back to my clinical rotation and are not able to pick up. 2:33pm: a text message from Nick, showing a refund of $33 out of 44$ - I quickly responded, and he said he is not able to refund the delivery fee, even though it was their company's fault. We continue to exchange text messages, however I know it's not going well, so I stopped. I've called discovered and we will see to get back the delivery fee. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR SCAM, I'm sure they thought me being out of state will accept their horrible customer service and BAD QUALITY FLOWERS TO MY OWN MOTHERS birthday. Mind you I told Nick at 8am this is the first year my mom is spending her birthday alone without me, to make her happy... then to get a call and text pictures from your own mom saying it's old flowers? I came here on a Sunday morning, and the gentleman who helped me was very nice, patient, and informative. Didn't push any extras or anything i didn't want. As far as the quality of the flowers go they are very well kept, great selection, and color. Not many of them were wilted, dead, colorless. Of course you are to expect some here and there but it was very minimal to say the least.
