I go to a barber shop with fear in my heart, never can I just come in and sit in a chair and know…read morethe barber taking care of me will do a good job. I always would do my hair so they have an outline of what I would like, just shorter. I came into Slick's and felt instantly welcomed. I came in with a beanie, (stepping away from my usual trading of prepping my hair) I simply showed Albert (a barber who works there) my picture from my license, and he was able to line me up spot on to what I was looking for. He cut my hair to perfection and gave me a chin strap so sharp looking, I was afraid to touch it and cut myself. Best experience I have ever had at a barbershop. However I didn't have cash on me to pay and Slick, (the owner himself) gave me a firm handshake and said, "no problem we aren't going anywhere." He let me go to the bank in good faith I would bring the money I owed for the fresh cut without batting an eye. It was at the moment I knew I would be getting my hair cut there until the day I go bald.

The other barber Samantha was the person to greet me after sitting down for 5 minutes. She seems really nice. So since I had a good cut I had my son go in to get a haircut by Phoung. Phoung finally asks if we have an appointment and then at this time it has been 15 minutes past the appointment time. She states that she didn't know she had an appointment. The nice man asks if he should get out of the chair....Phoung says no and then proceeds to pass the haircut to a different barber. They seem to be good at cutting hair but lacking some courtesy.
