$250 for a really bad job...we paid for a basic wash and a interior detail on a used car that we purchased. carpets were left soaked..car was still dirty not even a basic detail. Dirt left behind in various parts of the car. Looked like he just washed the car and said he "cleaned" the rest what a scam. Had to use our own shop vac to extract the rest of the water left behind and the water was filthy. The rims were dirty not even wiped down at least; left with a lot of brake dust and dirt. It was reallyva si so wash. So many details nor done. He should really find a different line of work. Im a dental hygienist, and know how I would derail, but im disabled now, so I have to pay. I called him this morning, but he won't answer my calls. I got ripped off. Just beware, Omar will raise the price for everything that is " normally" included, and do a shifty job. This was a high priced car wash that wasn't even done right! This is not a detailing service. I've never experienced a mobile detailer that took only an hour!!! I've had 2 or more ppl work on my vehicles and it still took longer than an hour. For $250?!!!!! I basically got robbed with my permission is how I see it! I've had mobile car washes that took 2 hours long for $80 and you would've thought I had it detailed! The tire dressing looked like it was poured on. There was white gunk in between the grooves of my tires. I do my own detailing and I've never left my tires looking like that after I've applied the dressing. Then after I drove my vehicle there was tire dressing splashed against my vehicle. I've never had that happen before. My wind guards in my window were not dried all the way in the inside. Detailers always make sure they are dry. The windows still had lint from whatever they dried my car with. I have no clue what the detailing part of this job was! I should've thoroughly looked better at my vehicle before they left. Unfortunately this was done at my place of employment so I had to rush to get back to work. Omar was nice but his work is not what the 5 star reviews on Google say! Unless he took advantage of the fact that I was a woman and wouldn't notice the little details. Even I warned him prior that I'm very picky on how I like my Bronco detailed. He said he would wipe down and vacuum the inside as a courtesy. Since the $250 price was only for the outside detailing. Again it only took him and his assistant an hour to do the outside "detailing" I keep my car clean so there wasn't much to do in the inside except vacuum.. I wouldn't have even minded if he just vacuumed but instead he sprayed something on my dash and on the clear cover of my speedometer and didn't clean it after. It's so bad that I have to have someone else come out that was recommended by a friend to just re clean my Bronco. I put a lot of effort into my vehicles. I wish I had the kind of time to put into it to detail it myself every month. Unfortunately I have to find someone to do it. I've had my car for 3 years now. It had some sun damage to the roof sides of the car which has remained the SAME since 2020 up until this job was done, and never grew. I finally decided to get the interior detailed for a fresh start. The funny thing is I wasn't even concerned about the exterior (aside from the rims which didn't even get cleaned well), as hurricane Hilary was going to cause rain and the interior was my biggest concern. There was animal hair from the previous owner that I've never been able to Vaccuum out and I have a child that I let eat in the car and it was due for a deep clean. I originally wanted to go to a detailer that had an office rather than a mobile detailer so I could take my child with me as he is special needs and it's simpler to stay and wait but I had a hard time finding someone. I found this business and thought they had good reviews at first glance. I should have looked deeper and noticed how few reviews they have: Only 11, one of them being 1 star. Despite this I scheduled with him as I wanted to get it done soon. I cleaned out all the trash from the car prior to going, removed all the seat protectors and car seats, and everything from the center console and glove compartments. I even informed Omar, as you can see in the screenshots, to SKIP the trunk area entirely as I couldn't deal with the amount of stuff I had inside. No problem for me. There was a problem area that I found when I removed my back seat protector, which was the hole for the seat belt. Food had gotten stuck there and I was really embarrassed and anxious over it so I tried to clean it but I couldn't do much. I messaged him a picture and basically told him I did not think this area was cleanable, which was my way of trying to tell him that it'd be okay if they skipped this because I felt bad. He said they'd clean it. They did end up cleaning it, and I picked up the car after the service, and again, at FIRST glance I thought it was a job well done. The service was $250 and I tipped $20 so total for the 2 hour service end of the day was $270. Because I wasn't able to get the car right at the end of the 2 hours I did not see the owner Omar except for a brief meeting when I dropped off the car. I immediately noticed there was dust on my dashboard but I dismissed it. I texted him it was well done and went about my day. The next day I noticed that my hands were sticky and dirty and it was from my steering wheel peeling, which has never happened before. A few days later I noticed that the hood of my car, which has ALWAYS looked nice (the car is 2009 model), was PEELING. After 3 years of owning this car, the hood of my car went from COATED to PEELING in 6+ spots !!!! I just so HAPPENED to take pictures of all 4 corners of my car 2 weeks prior to the service (august 5th), for insurance purposes, and the detailing service was done on the 19th, exactly 2 weeks later. I hesitated to reach out to him but eventually did when I noticed that my son, who would wipe his hands above him and get grease from Starbucks grilled cheeses (those things are so oily) all over in one particular corner of the back windshield, was still there!!!! They had skipped the interior of the windows entirely. I would add a photo of the inside of the windows but Yelp only allows 10 photos so I can't but it is bad. The owner denies it being their fault, but it's obviously clear that whatever chemicals and products they used and maybe even the type of power washer, was too harsh. He offered for us to bring it in so he could "recommend what's best," but I'm not going to continue to waste my time only to be mansplained what a paint job is and how it isn't his fault. If there was already damage to the paint, why wouldn't he have mentioned that? They messed up the paint of my car plain and simple and now it needs a paint job. I messaged him with pictures of the before and after and he proceeds to zoom in on sunscreen fingerprints and call it paint damage. I take my son out in the summer and he touched the side of the hood and gets sunscreen on it. They are obviously fingerprints and anyone can see that. After doing further searching, it looks like this family has multiple businesses, a juice bar, the mobile Detailer and a solar panel cleaning business, and they review themselves.... I'm not here to make enemies, I even told him via text that I did not enjoy having to confront him about it, but the fact is they damaged my car. Don't be like me and do more research and don't come here. read more
