Thoroughly enjoyed a late Sunday night pit stop for a fresh beer and chill time to plan the week ahead at Frenzy brewery. Service was great and the beer was so fresh and yummy. Definitely coming back.

    Patron drinking beer.

This place is amazing. They have a really good selection of draft beers. The ambiance is spectacular. The service was very polite and they were knowledgeable about the items. The place was very clean and then live entertainment by Edgar Cruz was wonderful. This is a messy if you're looking for live entertainment.

Service was great and fast. Full house and always was able to get our drinks fast. The inside is very beautiful and drinks are delicious and well priced I drank a Tragic Ballerinas and hubby got "yeah yeah * (cause I'm a blonde)

Love a good downtown brewery. I was eating lunch across the street and noticed Frenzy and had to go at least check in (b/c of the new OK Brewery App). I honestly had not heard of this place before. I had a 4 oz. of a couple of their sours and walked out with a variety six pack for home. Everything we've tried, we've liked. Service was super friendly. Seemed like a great place to spend a few hours. I will be back with the better half in tow so we can do just that.

The first time I went to Frenzy it sucked. I was with a group and that was great. It was slow and I was looking over the beers while others were ordering. I walked up to order and all of the staff just stopped working. No hard feelings. It could have been me, but I dont like to think that way. Anyhow, I was finally able to order and the beer was good. This was around the time businesses were opening up after lockdown so maybe around August 2020. I chose not to write a review instead of bashing Second visit a few weeks ago: I was killing time on my way to a family event in the area, and found myself avoiding Frenzy by walking to the railyard, but Frenzy had live music playing... and they have craft beer. I had a snack at the railyard and discovered summer moon and it was enchanting, but didn't want coffee at 4pm. Beer at 4pm and giving a bad experience a second chance makes the world a better place I walked in the back door and the halls were packed and almost everyone in the entryway was dressed like the band Kiss... and they were teens. I walked the hall and turned the corner and experienced the cutest kids playing rock. These kids were probably 7, 8, 9 and playing green day I had three beers and they were all great. I had a larger, a wheat beer that may not have been a wheat beer, and an ipa. Come to find out; the School of Rock from a few doors north was scheduled for a full blown concert at the Criterion and they were doing one of the two scheduled practices at Frenzy. The bar was full and it was a good time. Frenzy won my #thankYouThursday22021 review because of the way they hosted for School of Rock

Don't forget the back entrance with easy access to free parking lot parking. June 2020.

Edmond's first brewery! The folx at Frenzy know how to do a few things... ^^ || create a community friendly space during a pandemic, check ^^ || brew beer w/ bold & balanced flavors, check ^^ || fabulously renovate a historic building in downtown Edmond, check Come here for the beer...it's very tasty. They do a variety of styles and are in tune with seasonal flavors. They have a variety of glass sizes from a small (4oz), to medium (8oz), to large (12oz) to enjoy on site. You can ask to see if your on-tap favorite is available in a crowler to take home. It seems as if their tap list is ever changing. One that has been a favorite recently is the Cabaña Bro. It's hop forward with a citrusy flair. They allow you to sample before you buy which is how I discovered this new-to-me hop-a-licious hit. MORE TO LOVE: ^^ || Bring your own food from a walkable foodie friendly Edmond establishment: pizza, burgers & melts, wings, tacos, & ice cream. ^^ || Sit inside physically distanced or grab a table outside. ^^ || For your entertainment: pull up a chair almost anywhere in the taproom and watch them brew beer (when they are brewing) through giant glass walls. ^^ || Bring your own deck of cards / board game. They have community games available, but in 2020 maybe safer, for now, to bring your own. ^^ || Catch the game on their TVs. ^^ || Park in the back of the building in the *free* community lot and enter through the backdoor. ^^ || Shop here for a full selection of to-go Frenzy 4 and 6 packs (or crowlers). They have the best Frenzy selection in town! October 2020

We were walking off our food after dinner and came upon Frenzy. They had live bluegrass that made my feet Tapp and I wanted to dance. My friend is not a fan of bluegrass and has been here before, and so they also have things like jazz and other genres, so eventually you'll be pleased with the music. Outside on the sidewalk café / patio there were children dancing abs having fun. Their are a variety of tables outside, both large abs small. I ordered a flight of 4 (plus I got a onesie to start). I tried: No. 2 Unspeakable Things (New England IPA) 6% ABV The menu says: "This beer is a hop bomb! It has complex aromas of grapefruit, orange and mango. Just don't ask how we made it. . . " No. 6 Cabaña 'Bro (Double Hopped New England IPA) 6.25% ABV The menu says: "This double dry hopped NEIPA packs a tropical punch! Notes of pineapple and coconut abound. Banana, hammock and cabana not included." (My #1) No. 13 Name Trauma (Belgian Specialty Ale) 8.3% ABV The menu says: "This Belgian Specialty Ale has notes of banana and cloves. We used Belgian candy step to add some complex notes while also creating a clear, dry finish . . ." No. 22 Lemon Ginger Summer (Cider - Herbed) 5.7% ABV The menu says: "An eat drinking English inspired cider with fresh pressed lemon and ginger juices." (My #2) And my +1 No. 21 Naughty Apple Cider (Cider - Traditional) 5% ABV The menu says: "East drinking session Cider, semi-dry." (My last favorite, because I don't like apples. My friend told me to try it not knowing I dislike apples."

Ask the Community - Frenzy Brewing

    Do you serve food? Thanks

They have light bites such as jerky and popcorn for sale. There is usually a food truck as well. If that doesn't work, one of our favorite things to do is get food delivered by Uber eats etc.

Do you have to be 21 to go to this bar? Or is it 18 and over since it is beer?

It's a very family friendly brewery. My husband and I went for the first time this fall and saw kids at a table playing board games. This establishment has a corner shelf with games and puzzles. You can probably bring your own games and they… Read more

OKC is home to some truly fantastic breweries but Battered Boar seems to fly under the radar. I only found out about them when they opened just down the road from me, so I had to try them out. The first trip was odd, since they are so different from any other brewery/taphouse I've visited. First, the place is very small, dark and eccentrically decorated with some pretty cool stuff. They have the usual colorful board menu describing all of their beers but you have to look at the tiny whiteboard on the counter to see what they actually have on that day, and it's usually a fraction of what is on the wall. One of the things I don't like is their presentation of the beers. They seem to have a rehearsed spiel they go thru to describe the beers and although they are descriptive, as a beer enthusiast I like a more detailed description I can relate to standard beer styles. But, this is where Battered Boar really stands out, because most of their beers are unique and don't seem to fit into traditional beer categories. I'm not a big fan of all of their beers, but they are extremely creative and all of the beers are very well executed. Their brewers really have their craft honed to perfection. This is some of the smoothest and most flavorful beer I've had and there is zero evidence of any "off-flavors" present. They also have some really cool water chemistry going in that greatly impact the experience of their beers. My favorite beer in their lineup is the Lime Salten. Very bizarre at first, but quickly addictive. Their coconut cream stout is also amazing. For beer lovers, I can highly recommend Battered Boar Brewery. Don't go there and expect to find the latest IPA, Pilsner or Brown Ale. Battered Boar's beers don't really fall into those categories and are so unique. I would love to read an in-depth article on their brewing techniques, ingredients and equipment!

They had two fans going instead. The seating was not comfortable and it was kind of a weird set up. They only had 4-5 of their beers available when we went in. You order and then wait awhile for someone to bring it from a back room you can't see. It was the longest I've waited for a beer at any brewery I've been to anywhere in the US. The staff were friendly. I tried the lime sultan and it was like drinking salt. I wouldn't recommend. My friend had one of their fruity beers which wasn't bad. I would not go back. Hope their set up gets better. They said they had moved there the first of the year and it is now August.

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits.
