Explained everything to us and was not in a rush to send us out the door. We happened to be there during Mardi Gras festivities. Desportes was closed on Fat Tuesday. Monday, Frank assured us that he could pack our cooler for our trip back home to New York State. We bought shrimp, flounder, and oysters. The oysters came after the shop closed. Frank and his cousin waited for us to come back after our Shrimp Boat Tour to load the very heavy cooler into our car. We were very grateful to see them waiting for us The seafood arrived home in pristine shape. Not frozen but perfectly cooled. Four days after Frank and his cousin loaded the cooler into our car we were having seafood boil with our family. The oyster eaters raved about how fresh and tasty they were. Us shrimp eaters ate the tenderest, tastiest shrimp. None of it would have been possible without Frank's knowledge and friendliness. We enjoyed Frank and we enjoyed seafood from Desportes Seafood. We will go there whenever we are in Biloxi.

This location also has a diner which I have not visited, but the food smells fantastic. They sell a large variety of condiments to match your fresh seafood purchase. They also feature crafts from local artists for purchase. The parking lot is easy to park in and the employees will assist with loading your vehicle. Buy local, eat local! Enjoy

This store is the best…read more For years I have lamented the fact that there is not a good butcher shop on the MS Gulf Coast. I can lament that no longer because TBT is legit. Located next to what is probably the shadiest gas station in the area, TBT occupies what had been several failed restaurants. They seem to have broken the location's curse as they are often busy and for good reason. Tuna Dip - Ever had TBT tuna dip? It is smoky, chunky, and delicious. They sell a sizable container for $10. It is a hell of a deal and goes really well with pork rinds. It is the same recipe they use in the restaurants. Steaks - Oh hell yes. They have fresh-cut steaks of all varieties in prime and choice. They also often have bone-in ribeyes cut about 2-3 inches thick. I got one of those once and when I cooked it all of my neighbors came to see what the hell I had on the grill. Of their steaks, I prefer the fillets and ribeyes, particularly the prime ribeyes. They are very high quality, reasonably priced, and taste delicious. Lamb Chops - This is the best place on the coast to buy lamb chops. Most come in a marinade of oil and some green stuff. I am sure the green stuff has a name but I can't remember. I recommend removing them from the bag and marinating them yourself. That will increase the flavor. If you don't like lamb, don't buy these. But if you do, they are awesome. Fresh Seafood - They get fresh stuff straight from fishermen so there is always a good selection of fresh shrimp, fish, and crabs. I have bought some shrimp before and they were on par with what I have purchased around the corner at the harbor. Berled Crawfish - During the season they sold crawfish for around $1.99 a pound. It is the best deal on the coast, but they didn't sell corn, potatoes, or sausage. But if you needed some berled crawfish, they were cheap and plentiful. Prepared food - They usually run a smashburger special with a bag of chips for about $10. They grind their own meat using ribeye and fillet so it's pretty tasty. In addition to the great selection of food items, the staff here are really great. It seems to be a family affair and everyone I have encountered has been super nice. They even laugh when I say dumb stuff which is always a plus for me. If you are on the coast and need fresh stiff to grill, head to TBT Meat Market.

Okay.... So I went there to get 10 pounds of crawfish to-go for a special birthday. Everybody told…read moreme that they'd be super spicy there and so great. Nope. They weren't spicy at all and they were also small. There were also pieces of grass and sticks in the bag. I also ordered a pound of the snow crab legs. I don't know why, but they came with this nasty brown seasoning on them that made your hands pretty nasty. I didn't know why they would need to season them but then I realized that it was to cover up for the nasty taste of the crab. I don't know how old these were, but they were not good. I gave some to my friends to try whom I was eating with, and they all agreed. So it was about $80 spent on bad food. I don't know what the hype is about this place, I found it to be pretty awful. It's only getting two stars because of the awesome lady who worked there. Oh- and I also stood in line for a good 30 minutes and was there waiting for it all for close to an hour.
