Now this particular BMV they have a greeter by the door who asks what you need and directs you to the correct line or gives you a number to wait. She ll check out your paperwork to make sure you have everything you need. No headache of waiting for nothing I've never waited longer than 15 minutes for service. Staff is friendly and get you in and out. Unfortunately starting July 2018 Ohio is going the TX route and you will get a temporary license(piece of paper) and the license will be mailed out in 5-10 days. Boo to that but something about new federal regulations. Lucky me Im a June baby so I got mine in 5 minutes and im good for 4 years. Taking a star away for charging a fee for using your credit or debit card. Nobody carries cash like that anymore but all in all a well run spot.

Me, I apparently only bought plates for 1 of our cars, 5 months ago. So I have been driving on expired tags. Plus we sold the other car. Can I transfer those already paid plates to the other car? Yep. Easy peasy. Very modest fee. I watched the employees as they helped other customers. When appropriate, they asked customers if they were registered to vote and if they wanted to be. I was surprised at the number who opt out of voting. All of us no matter what side of the political aisle we are on, should research facts and vote our convictions. The BMV makes it easy to register to vote, change your address on top of the usual stuff you can do at the BMV. Very competent employees and usually not too long of a wait.

There was a woman, who was pretty cranky, by the door making sure everyone wore a mask. It cost $27.25 and I brought extra documents just in case. I brought my birth certificate, SSN, car registration, and a recent pay stub along with my current license. I got a paper version and am suppose to get the real one in a few weeks.

As I listened to the other workers interacting with the customers I noticed that everyone of them was polite and courteous. I happened to be helped by Deidra and she was amazing ! She went out of her way to make sure everything was done and done right , this included her calling me back and letting me know they had the resolution and I was welcome to come back and finish my business.
