The place is a hodden gem. I went here because the liquor storeclose to me closes at 10 pm. This place is like the Disneyland of liquor stores, and i wish i had known about it sooner. Not only do they have a huge variety of alcoholic drinks, they literally have a huge selection of everything. You can get snacks (some are limited and i haven't had much luck finding anywhere else). There are discounts on certain beverages (look for the signs). The employee was friendly and nice and informative. All i know as that my girlfriend has been bugging me to go back ever since we initially went there. I will definitely be coming back sooner than later. The store is clean, stocked, and well organized. You could find yourself in there easily over 15-20 minutes. There is a lot to see!!! read more

Terrible liquor they over charge customers for items. I purchased a tall can Arizona and was charged $15. I normally never check my receipts but I noticed when I got home he charged me $15. I asked for a full refund and the owner said no. Some bs don't go here and check your receipts. Luckily my bank refunded me the money. This 5 star review is for exceptional service, and a fantastic selection. I came here from San Dimas liquor, making purchases of craft beer at both. The gentleman behind the counter had made sure the beer I was after, a special release by Allagash, was in stock and was friendly at checkout. The selection of craft beer here is incredible and I'm glad there aren't shopping carts I'd be tempted to fill. Big thanks to Nate, the owner, for keeping a store stocked with so many difficult to acquire beer varieties and going above and beyond to keep his customers happy. freeway liquor is racist!!! my wife and i purchased a home in west covina in this past november...every business we've patronized since we've been on this side of town as been very polite and receptive. until today we visited freeway liquor on vincent avenue off the 10 freeway. i have never felt so racially targeted in my 48 years on this earth. we simply went to this establishment to purchase lotto tickets and the proprietor of this business met us with an accusatory demeanor and aggression. he basically stood at the counter and blatantly stared us down like we were about to steal or harm him. all black people aren't criminals sir for the record. i've been a la county probation dept employee for over 20 years and my wife is a nurse... it's nothing in that liquor store we can't afford. i just want this to be a lesson for business owners and any other customers that may have been racially targeted by this is gentleman before. needless to say we left the store because i refuse to spend my hard-earned money in a establishment like that...this type of behavior has to be stopped. read more

I love California liquor stores like this one. Freeway liquor is conveniently located off the 10 freeway on vincent Ave. The parking lot is a little bit of an adventure but nothing out of the ordinary. This place has a large selections of beers (domestic, craft, and imports). I am not a liquor drinker but this place carries plenty of liquor if that is your thing. Interesting enough, they also carry a decent selection of cigars and smokes. Remon the guy who works here is nice and he is a good source if you have any questions. We recently had a graduation party and elected to get a keg of beer for our guest. I called several liquors in the area for prices but this one turned out to be the most competitive/ average price. The bud light keg is $115.99 + tax and $75 deposit (50 for Keg and 25 for the pump). You are given your your deposit back after returning the keg/pump without damage. They also have a very leisure policy to return the stuff at your own convenience, so you can see that as a good or bad thing. We returned the empty keg two days later and were given our deposit back without any hassle. I would definitely recommend this place to individuals looking for domestic kegs and looking to score a 6 pack of micro brews. Salud! read more

I'd never thought twice about this liquor store even though I drive by it quite often. Such a mistake! I don't really do a whole lot of drinking, but when Adam Carolla announced that Mangria would be available in stores I knew I had to get my hands on some. My boyfriend immediately looked up where it would be sold, and voila! Freeway Liquor was on the list. I stopped by around noon on a weekday to pick up a couple of bottles, and the man behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. Definitely a good sign! This location is part of the San Dimas liquor family. Located off Vincent, in a small strip mall. Parking can be a bit tight but never had any trouble. My boy Nate always hooks it up with the fresh releases of beer. Follow on Instagram for the latest news/releases and reviews about what's new, hot and upcoming. Nate is very accessible and he seems to have a twin! He's at both locations at the same time. While I try to figure out the implications of quantum physics that allows him to be in 2 places at once, you can be rest assured that your beer is in one of the many fridges he houses his beer. I really like this spot, because when my girl and I started getting into craft beers, this was the first spot we went to. Many late night beer runs later, they always have something interesting to try. You will pay a little more than picking up directly from a brewery but they have hot Cheetos and weed pipes (just in case?). im surprised no one has written anything about this store. i'll start.. here goes.. This liquor store is like a MOCA of liquors. not as huge as bevmo but they have stuff that you rarely see in other liquor stores. i bought my first bottle of absinthe here. i was awed in delight because it is finally legal to sell it here in california. it was quite expensive at 70 something bucks but you dont see that kind of drink everyday. I deluded myself that if i buy it, it would lead me closer to van gogh. i asked the guy who works there if this is the type that would make you hallucinate and he swore he saw pink elephants after 3 shots. he even told us how to mix it right with the absinthe spoon designated for it, plus the traditional sugar cubes. the bottle didnt come with a spoon when i bought it but when i came back for a bottle of jack, the guy remembered and hooked me up with a free spoon. i havent tripped out on it yet. its still a quarter full. buying the absinthe was worth the 70 bucks if you ask me considering i purchased it 6 months ago. if you're a habitual drunk who suffers from excessive thirst for anything with alcohol and live around the area, this is the place to be. i shall update with more alkie adventures soon. read more

Like I said before, this place has quite a large selection of alcohol at pretty competitive prices. During my last visit, I bought a good amount of alcohol since I was going to be doing some entertaining. The gentlemen were very helpful in suggesting just the right mixes and highlighting the new products that were worth trying based on their personal reviews. They even threw in a free bag of ice and helped me out to my car. There are still quite a few shady characters that visit this establishment, but the cashiers made me feel very safe and welcome.
