Tbh, I almost forgot about this liquor store. It's a very hole-in-the wall, kind of place but def worth a visit. I came by a couple years ago and remembered that I was pleasantly surprised by the immense selection of alcohol, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverage selection of this place. We've been on a "let's try new flavors and alcoholic stuffs" kick lately so this place came to mind. Yet again, I was NOT disappointed! Parking: Private lot with lots of parking. Cool mural as well. If you're about to head out to a party or you're throwing a party and need some liquor, THIS IS THE SPOT! One stop and you have all your drink and snacky needs. They have a couple of fridges where you can "mix & match" for a 6 pack special (ranges from $8.99 to $10.99). They also have ones that are not sold separately. All in all, I think this place is also a great place to try new flavors of craft beers, seltzers, etc. They have wine, michelada mixes and cups too! Their snacks ranges from mexican candy, ring pops, chips, dips, sunflower seeds, etc. They also sell ice by the bag as well as cups, napkins, etc. Side note: they charge .75 cents for card charges but they also have an atm machine. read more

My friend and I stoped at Mickey's Liquor store For refreshments and Liquor we got the RED TAKA VODKA. We took off home when we got there my friend pored us a shot. When we took are shot IT WAS WATER!. My friend went back to Mickey to let the cashier know that the bottle contained water instead of liquor. She said sorry no refund so my friend said ok then let me have a the same bottle I'm going to open it in front of you to make sure it liquor not water. So he did when he took a sip he told he IT'S WATER smell it. She did and said sorry no refund. He ended up buying two bottles of WATER instead of LIQUOR. It was unbelievable we will never go back to this Mickeys liquor store. read more

My husband was working down the street and we passed this place on the way and I told "oh look there's a craft beer liquor store" of course his reply was "that's a trick there no such liquor store in this area" to prove him wrong I decided to drop in after I dropped him off to work! To my pleasant surprise this place sells lots of craft beers! Each refrigerator is nicely organized based on types of beer so you'll have a Belgium section in one and a Saison section in another and it just keeps going on. Most of the people who come in are locals and just go for the domestic beers which there's a section for too, but it's unfortunate as this place sells much better beer than that! Price: 3 bottles was $24, bottles range from $4-$25 a bottle and sizes varies "The Good": you can find a lot of rare craft beers and it's decently priced it might be slightly cheaper on some brands that I've came across. Guy working the cashier was nice asked if I found everything I was looking for. "The Bad": Far and out of the way it's literally in the middle of no where I would only come here again if I had to drop off my husband. read more

this liquor sucks plain and simple. begging to peel away away the layers of this stinky onion, i'll begin by stating how terrible the selection of alcohol they haves. they only carry mediocre beer that a common bun enjoys. second, they did not give me a discount as promised upon the yelp check in. after informing the staff, one of the workers gave me a stink look and chuckled... very unprofessional. third, i was very disappointed by the comment the clerk told me right after the chuckle. he proceeded to call me queer slurs and judge me for wearing tight jeans. i don't recommend shopping here, tryna different store. better off going to a grocery store! read more

Spent a total of $100 or so on 5 beers, not a bad price for the high end stuff he stocks. Definitely coming back and this place is the closes craft beer store to me in the san gabriel valley. Was driving to a friend's birthday party inland from Los Angeles and needed to purchase some wine. Since there wasn't a Bevmo or Total Wine around, I Yelped nearby liquor stores. Lo and behold Mickey's Liquor pops up in the many reviews, but once I saw the "Free Shot Glass when you Check In" feature, I had to get my boyfriend to drive there so we can get my friend's gift (of wine) and that cool looking shot glass (yea, I know, the power of free stuff)!!! The management and cashier there were extremely nice and even gave me a free drink mixer for driving all the way there. The shop has a wide variety of wine, beers, and spirits; it was a more diverse selection than other traditional liquor stores. It was also very well organized which made me very impressed upon stepping foot inside the store. I entered very excited and left very satisfied and content. :) read more

Great selection of craft beer, hard liquor, mixers, michelada mixers, snacks, basically anything you need to have a good time !!! I recommend this to anyone who goes likes some good craft beers. If they don't have it then just speak to the manager and he will do his best to get it. I asked him for Einstok White Ale and Premium British Trooper beer and he was able to get them both !!!!! I have ridiculous taste when it comes to booze. Mickey's Liquor has the greatest selection of beer and odd-liquor I have seen in North America. I call the owner Stephan and ask for my stupid requests, whether it's a caste whiskey beer from Scotland that's aged 18 years or a yogurt liquor I haven't been able to find anywhere in the United States, Mickey's Liquor delivers. They even had Mangria from the Adam Carolla podcast. It's almost ridiculous how they can get everything. I don't know who the owner has had to blow for this ridiculous selection, but I hope he keeps finishing them off because large specialized retailers can't get what I want and Mickey's Liquor has managed to fulfill every long, throbbing request I've ever had. I've visited a few times, and everyone already knows me on a first name basis. The customer service is impeccable. I pretty much drive to the hood for this guy's booze selection. Mickey's Liquor puts BevMo to shame. This place is a diamond in the rough and the owner is both a gentleman and a scholar. read more

He took the time to explain in-detail the differences, the taste and if its even worth trying. The greatest part was he even knew customers names... Not just the local wino but the average joe's too! Best place to come try out a wide variety of craft beers. The greatest thing about it is... you can pick any one bottle or can from a six pack or any pack (as long as you don't have to break the packaging) and buy it as a single. Great selection and usually not overpriced. Come here now! They have Kern River Double IPA. read more

My friends and I usually grab our alcohol at Ralph's on Workman Mill but it was already 12am and Ralph's was closed. I suggested we try to see if Mickey's was open. Sure enough they were open and I was amazed at how clean this place was. It's definitely cleaner on the inside than the outside.Most of their stuff was reasonably priced and they had specialty beer there as well. I might have reviewed this store in the past but Here's an update. Mickeys was thee best place to come to a few years ago and they always got the rare and hard to get stuff. Staff was always excellent and helpful but now it's gone down hill. Seems like when Stephan left so did the selection in beer, don't get me wrong, it's still good and you can definitely find something but it's just not what it used to be. They miss a lot of releases, staff isn't nearly as knowledgeable and social media account isn't as up to date, with Stephan focusing more on his other store this place has lost its way. I find myself traveling further even though this place is right near me. I still recommend this shop for the hidden gems it contains and the decent selection it carries. read more

In a nutshell, randomly found myself here on my way to a house party. Couldn't show up empty handed, so I stopped and I'm glad I did. I'm not big on stopping at some random, potentially sketch place, but Mickey's is surprisingly CLEAN! Went there earlier today in the afternoon with a friend to get some beer to pregame for the Dodger game. At the back of the store was a super attractive woman wearing a Tecate beer shirt and really skimpy shorts. I thought she was hanging out with the guys next to us, but she wasn't. Then she asked me and my friend if we wanted Tecate. I then figured out that she was a model, and I must say I was pretty impressed with this woman (not trying too hard, doesn't overkill the makeup, and gives off a beautiful vibe, a rare trio among models lol). I dunno if the model is employed by the store owner or Tecate or whatever, all I know is that I had an unexpected pleasant experience there and will definitely be returning. My guess is the models work Saturdays and Sundays, so try heading out there during those days. read more
