Made an Appt at Freestone 2 weeks ago for 11am. It was my first Appt so I got there at 10:45am to fill out paperwork. After 5 patients went in front of me after walking in after me and 40 minutes of waiting I walked out. The front desk lady told me because it was my first time they take whoever comes in or something along those lines, which makes no sense to make an appointment if my actual appointment is going to be an hour later than scheduled. Have heard great things but SO disappointed with the lack of customer service. read more

I didn't realize chiropractors use these tables that do the adjusting as the doc presses down. I wish I had known about this years ago. Then my neck, and spine would not be in such bad shape. I have not been to the chiro because of too much inflammation in my body. It was either the traditional twisting and cracking method, which doesn't work for me. Or the activator tool that did nothing at all to adjust. There are two docs here, and one I prefer to see. I encourage people to visit with both to decide because they are different in their technique, and communication. $15 per visit is less than my ins. copay. read more

I've been seeing Dr Meade now for 4 years. Now my entire family goes there. I am pain free but love to stop in once a week for maintenance. The price is amazing. I do the punch card and save $2 a visit for the whole family. Need an appointment first time but after that you just stop in. Most days you might wait 5 minutes. I've been going to Freestone since 1996. I am very physically active, I'm @ the Gym 15/30 days a month and I walk 100 miles a month. I'm a smaller framed guy 5'7 167 and I'm 57 yrs old. The fact that I've never had back issues beyond needing an adjustment speaks a lot to the Chiro care I've had through the years. I've been going to Freestone since before the dinosaurs roamed the earth. They've treated me, my Mom, Step-Dad and even my little miss after she took a face plant off the monkey bars at school. I knew I could trust them to handle my princess with care. They're always personable, never pushy on trying to get you in on the daily, and they let you decide how often to come in. After a few auto accidents (not my fault) and wearing bad wedges occasionally (short girl issues) I need to be put back into place. I see Dr Sanchez because he is fabulous, knows what he's doing, and can figure out where I'm hurtng without me saying a word. He is there on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursdays which works with my crazy schedule. Dr Meade is there on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and word on the street from other Yelp peeps is he's awesome too! You won't be cured after one visit, perfection takes time but I always feel better walking out than when I walked in. Freestone Chiropractic on Southern Avenue in Mesa is a truly great deal! I'm surprised that they do not have more advertising. I was so lucky to have found them by driving by and reading their sign. Freestone is the CHEAPEST CHIROPRACTOR office that I have personally found in East Valley. You pay $30 for their first visit which includes an X ray, and exam by the doctor. Then each visit is by cash or credit card for ONLY $15 AN OFFICE VISIT! This is even cheaper than my former Tucson chiropractor. I believe that Lincoln Chiropractic in East Valley costs $20 a visit, but Freestone is still the best! I have a scoliosis disorder and I need regular adjustments to keep my spine aligned. I am so VERY GRATEFUL for Freestone. Dr. Meade is also a great doctor and he manipulates me on the table with his hands. I feel so good when I get off the table. Dr. Meade is a very gifted chiropractor and he is only in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8AM to 6PM. The other chiropractor, Dr. Sanchez is there on Tuesday, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I really prefer Dr. Meade and I try to spread the word to friends. I could not even begin to afford what these other clinics in East Valley charge. I will be so upset if I ever have to move across town or change my work schedule. At least for now I can save my money and I go twice a month, instead of just once a month with another doctor. One thing I like most is they use a drop table so the adjustments are more gentle then many chiropractors that I have seen. The price at $15 is the best in the Valley. I'm 68 & was struck by lightening in 1993. Had back problems prior to that tho! Been to MANY chiropractors (plus every kind of specialist imaginable for my 24/7 pain since then & THEN CAME...very bad...sometimes all day, mobility problems, similar to Arthritis BUT with NO Arthritis diagnosis! Dr MEADE is only one of two chiropractors that I have EVER "used" in about 35 years! From 1968 to '91 I lived in Western WA. THAT is where the ONLY other GOOD/GREAT CHIROPRACTOR is... that I have ever found! Dr. MEADE EXCELS IN EVERY WAY! Not "only" as a chiropractor, but also AS A HUMAN BEING! He seems to GENUINELY KNOW what he is doing and CARES about his patient's well being. His "hands on" approach does wonders for me. Others, doing virtually the same thing, do me little if any good! I even wonder if part of the reason his rates are sooo low is because he wants to help those that otherwise would have to live in pain... due to their finances. I've heard that this was the original Dr. Freestone's philosophy. Whatever the case, I applaud what I feel are genuinely fine, and seldom seen, "Good Samaritan" type acts of kindness & caring... along with exceptional chiropractic abilities!
