Great caring, attentive service at a fair price. They have worked us in when our dog had issues come up several times.

I called today with a simple issue for my puppy after calling five or six other local . Those vets…read moreoffered help because I'm not a local patient. When I called 30 a vet, they cared about my puppy and gave me advice on where to find the prescription that my regular vet Prescribed. I was very appreciative of their care.

I took my Pomeranian puppy, Grizz, to 30A Vet last year, and unfortunately both visits were…read moreextremely overwhelming and left me feeling very uncomfortable with the care experience. At our first visit, multiple staff members immediately took him out of my arms without asking. I understand that puppies attract attention, but Grizz was very shy, visibly nervous, and shaking. I repeatedly explained that he needed calm, gentle handling, yet it felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. Staff continued to crowd around him and speak in a loud, excited manner, which only heightened his anxiety. As his owner, it was upsetting to feel like I had to stay on guard rather than feel supported. There was also confusion around vaccines. I had clearly communicated that we were there for one specific puppy vaccine and that we preferred a minimal approach. Instead, I felt pressured into discussing additional vaccines and services we were not comfortable pursuing at that time. I fully respect that a veterinarian's role includes education, but I did not feel that my decisions were being respected. We returned for a second visit to receive the vaccine we had discussed, and that experience confirmed that this clinic was not the right fit for us. Once again, I felt pressured about additional services, including Bordetella, fecal testing, and deworming, even after explaining that I wanted to take time to research and make informed decisions. At one point, when I declined deworming for the time being, it was suggested that finances might be the reason. That comment felt inappropriate and frankly insulting, as my concern was solely about making the best health decision for my puppy. During the appointment, canned spray cheese (Easy Cheese) was used on a lick mat as a distraction treat. I found this disappointing and was not comfortable with my puppy consuming it. I am very intentional about what I feed my dogs and prefer to stick to ingredients I trust. When I declined, I felt as though my choice was viewed as unreasonable, which added to my discomfort. The vaccine experience itself was also stressful. My puppy was scared, wiggling, and clearly distressed. The first attempt completely missed him and had to be redone. While holding him very firmly to her chest, the vet tech said in a sarcastic tone, "oh you're being so dramatic, you're fine." He yelped loudly, and it was extremely difficult to watch. Additionally, I had to correct the technician multiple times regarding Grizz being male, which further contributed to my concern that the visit lacked attentiveness and personalization. After the appointment, I was given materials about deworming, which I was open to reviewing. However, the overall tone of the conversation felt more fear-based than educational. I left feeling shaken, overwhelmed, and confident that this was not the type of veterinary environment I wanted for my dog. Overall, I did not feel respected as a pet owner, and I did not feel that my puppy's nervous temperament was handled with the calm, thoughtful approach he needed. We ultimately decided not to continue care there, and I would not recommend this clinic based on our experience.
