He communicated with my surgeon over the phone. Ran tests and said things looked normal and that it was a mystery to him on why I was bleeding so much. His shift ended at 9ish and a new dr took over for him. By then they were just waiting on another test to come back and finally the new dr(dr Panagos) comes in and seems very rushed he said everything looked great and I was just having a very bad heavy period. And that I should be on hormones! I tried interrupting him and I did say, "but I'm not suppose to be bleeding". Because I thought he KNEW I JUST had a total hysterectomy. But he said well sometimes that happens. You'll get another period in same month you just had one and he walked out. Then I got my discharge papers and on it says UTERINE BLEEDING. I asked the nurse why and she said it means your bleeding because of your uterus. I said I DO NOT HAVE A UTERUS! And she said well that's what the dr put down. She suffers with Sickle Cell Anemia and he called a just a drug seeker. Her last visit ended on December 3, 2025 when she asked to go home because she could no longer tolerate the barrage of insults hurled at her from Dr. Ghani. He told my niece that no doctor at UW Health Hospital wanted to treat her. This behavior is inexcusable and will not be tolerated any longer. Dr. Ghani needs to face some professional repercussions about this.

When awakened in locked unit, staff from Janet Wattles and med students all stared and nobody ask or say anything, again. They were trying to get ins co to believe they MD and get payment for me, but police not do that or understand why call and can not arrest for stare think and act like it the victim as most staff often does, unless pregnant or in labor, they wait until not have baby with you to be mentally abusive act like it you and then call police, again. After 8 days, a police officer came and I followed them out as they not know I was drunk patient for not really drunk or abusive like they said. Later, that day I had corrective surgery on orthopedic injury at St. Anthony, then went home that afternoon. The staff would have kept me in psychiatric for as long as insurance say they will pay for as staff of med students, psychology students, and new hire nurses want to study. From what I understand lots of staff swear, lie, complain if not drink alcohol, believe they sick when not (hypochondriac) and project that issue onto patients who are sick, and/or injured.

They said so much garbage about me behind my back. They would have a hard time concentrating too if they were in my shoes. Fast forward years later. I'm married to a wonderful man with an awesome father who grew to be like my dad. One day my father-in-law was having a stroke. We took him to the ER which was now Javon Bea hospital. I told the lady at the front desk that my father-in-law was having a stroke. She told us to take a number and sit down. Take a number? Really? An hour later, he passed out in the waiting room. The nurse came running out after I frantically went up to the window and asked me what happened. I told her that I told the girls at the window 1 hour ago we think please having a stroke and they told me to take a number and have a seat. She was very rude and acted like we some nerve complaining. My father-in-law passed away. This health system has been horrible for decades. I thought maybe it had gotten better over the years but I was wrong. Don't ever take your loved one there or work there.

Not so at Javon Bea. You are awakened with a LOUD voice, which completely startles you, then put into a room with a nurse or nurses with no hope of being able to release that gas. So you go home with a very bad stomach ache. Otherwise, the staff could not have been kinder. I left a message for the department manager about this, but she never returned my call. The staff just seemed bothered by anyone asking anything about when they would get seen or even if the Doctors were even there? The bathrooms had shit all over the floor, yet never cleaned a waiting room full of patients by the end of the night all with IV's hanging out of there arms being told they can't leave because their considered triaged. Babies screaming coughing and throwing up with not a single consideration from the staff besides front desk putting on masks for there own protection. And here I sat with my family till we made the call to leave at 11:15p.m with never seeing a medical professional at all, and to at the end being told I'd have to discuss getting a refund for the ER visit with my insurance. Even certain staff mentioned to me that half of the staff left because of inside politics along with the cancellation of Molena among other insurances, possibly Champ VA. Honestly how is this one of if not the newest hospital and falling apart like this?

They did give me a physical on the spot, so that was cool. The results of the visit were a prescription, and a report back on my blood test. It appeared as if the clinic never took action on getting back to me with the results of the blood test, nor sending in the prescription that came out of the visit. After multiple calls, and about 3 weeks of time elapsed, I did eventually get the results of my blood test. Same was true of the prescription. OK turned out that they were not calling my phone #, rather someone else's. Fast forward to just recently, I went in for a scheduled appointment. When I got there I was informed that the Dr. would be about 15 minutes late. An hour later, many patients came and went while I sat waited. I became frustrated and left. I may try a different branch office, but I'll never be going to the Darien office again
