Whenever I'm in Toronto, I make a point to stop by the Queen Street location. Street parking is available, but I usually prefer to walk--it's a busy spot and always worth the visit. The staff is helpful, and the store is spacious, clean, and easy to browse. From essential oils to skincare, there's always something you didn't know you needed. My go-tos are the lip therapy packs, body butters, and the pain release roller. I recently tried the extreme pain release, and it's pretty incredible--no burning at all. Now if it could permanently fix my tendinitis, I'd be set. :)

They're very polite and knowledgeable and genuinely like to help you. A few of the girls here are quieter and introverted but even they're fantastic. A+. They're very generous with their samples here. The products themselves are a case-by-case basis. I've bought Cosmetic Warrior a few times and the consistency is always a little different. I have many friends who are both vegetarian and vegan; I learned that pretty much all of their soaps were vegan. :) Prices are reasonable for these heavy and large bar soaps. All products are Canadian, and locally produced. Perhaps among my favourites would be Spearmint? or Peppermint (made with real essential oils), as well as their Chocolate Mint. Mmm... how else can you spread dessert over yourself and not worry about making a mess? ;) I contacted them in December. I was in definite and desperate need for some more Xmas gifts. I explained my personal reason as to why I wasn't able to make it a second time to the craft show again (which would have been basically to pick up more of their soap). The owner accommodated me, which I hugely appreciated. I didn't know what I could have substituted for Demo's soaps, so I'm glad that things worked out. I received the scented goodies in time for an early family Christmas gift exchange. It really meant a lot to me that this owner went the extra mile for me. When a business owner already has a superb/marketable item, priced reasonably, and then offers exemplary customer service to boot, I think those qualities merit true positive gain in the business' profile and a realistic increase in customers, and customers' loyalty. (Thanks again, Thomas!)

This store carries prepackaged products and also has a refill station where you purchase as much as you require. Either bring in your own container or put down a returnable deposit for jar refills. Some of the products that they sell include hair and body soap bars, natural loofahs, body butters and oils, toothpaste, bamboo toothbrushes, essential oils, laundry detergent, soap nuts, dryer balls, reusable sandwich and storage bags, lunch boxes, block dish soap, dish brushes, straws (stainless steel, silicone, glass and bamboo), mason jar accessories (lids, soap pumps, tea infusers), and makeup remover pads. The employee working there was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and provide suggestions. Near the front of the store there's 3 bins/boxes for recycling. The larger one is for dropping off clean plastic takeout containers (with the number 5 on the bottom). These containers are reused and taken to a recycler accepting black plastic when they are no longer of any use. There isn't a parking lot but there is some street parking in front of the store. My husband did end up purchasing a product from their men's line for post shave as he struggles with irritation frequently after shaving. The men's products were still on the pricier side but the woman explained that the one bottle we purchased when used correctly should last for approximately a year. I've tried other things I didn't love, but thankfully they have a great return policy in case you don't like something, you can bring it back. They really stand behind their products, which I can really appreciate. You can get your receipts emailed to you which is convenient. The store smells delicious. Lots of interesting things on offer but all the packaging looks the same so it's hard to really understand what everything is, but the staff are friendly and happy to help explain everything. My only negative is that I wish they had more products that I like to use, like shampoo and conditioner, and different options for body wash. The shampoo and conditioner they have are non-sudsing 2-in-1s and I'm not into that, and I'm not a huge fan of the scent of the forest body wash. If you haven't tried Deciem, I'd totally recommend it. This location is way less hectic than the Distillery District one but it's also smaller. I'm glad I discovered this brand and that this location is so convenient for me.

It was so quick! It wasn't busy at that time either which was great. I know this brand does not work for everybody, since i'm a beauty lover for everything - i always suggest to do your research on product, review, issues and price budgeting. I was skeptical at first but because i have a relative who uses products from this store and she has similar face concerns as i do - i gave it a try. It really did the work for me! Using niacinamide and alpha arbutin, i see results within 3 months. My face has gotten alot clearer, no big blemishes and such. My hyperpigmentation lessened as well. I usually like to put them on first before moisturizer and sunscreen. I then on go forward with my skincare and makeup routine. I will update on lactic acid since i'm having KP on my legs. So keep an eye out if you have the same struggles as i do! Otherwise, I'm definitely coming back again!
