They were able to pull together an absolutely wonderful arrangement on short notice and deliver to a hospice that is extremely difficult to locate - same morning. I'd give them a zero if I could - or a negative rating. I ordered flowers for a funeral 4 days before the funeral. The flowers were delivered two days AFTER the funeral, which took place in another city. I called Freemans to dispute the charge and they said they were just too busy - despite my receiving a confirmation email for the order. FOUR days and they would not even acknowledge they were wrong! I have disputed the charge on my credit card. This florist was recommended by the funeral home and I will certainly let the funeral home know of my dissatisfaction with Freemans. I'm still waiting a resolution on my $100+ charge. My co-worker ordered from them the same day and had the same result. She is disputing their charge as well. read more

I have used Freeman's for floral needs in Amarillo for years for gifts and such. But yesterday my need was slightly different. I was ordering, over the phone, plants for my home. Claudia assisted me and was so very kind, patient and helpful. Two of the plants were large, beautiful peace lilies. The other three pieces were large plant arrangements to be planted in clear glass pots that I chose. Together we selected the specific plants that would go into each planter and they were absolutely perfect and beautiful. Fabulous work! These guys are typically our go-to florist and are so incredibly flexible. We used them for our wedding in Austin since we were hesitant to use someone we didn't know. Our flowers were ready on Thursday afternoon and held up perfectly for the Saturday wedding...even after the long drive. They are also very willing to work within your budget. Just be straightforward and let them know what you want and they'll do their best to accommodate your needs. If you don't have a particular preference in flowers, just let them do their magic. I wanted to send flowers to my mother on my birthday. I placed the order at 11 am on Friday. They assured me that same day delivery would NOT be a problem. The flowers were NOT delivered on Friday. When I tried to call at 5:10pm they were not open, even though their hours posted online were until 5:30pm (I live out of town). When I called for a refund for the unsuccessful delivery, the lady on the phone was exceptionally rude, and she hung up on me. I'm outa state and had them do a delivery for my mothers birthday. I was asked my price range and told them I'm not too picky. They told me they could do a nice arrangement for $30-$40. My response was sounds great. I find out that they were over an hour late on the delivery. The flowers my mom did enjoy and love. 9 days later we were charged $54.00. That we had seen on our bank statement. The main point in this is we kept mama happy. But we never got a phone call or anything sayin its more or if it will be okay! Kinda feel that they took advantage of us being outa state and didn't care or not if they got any repeat business from us. read more

I ordered flowers early in the week for a Saturday funeral. Freeman's assured me they would deliver it to the funeral home at exactly the right time. I flew in the night before the funeral and was heartbroken to see that the $140 flower arrangement I had ordered was dried out and many of the flowers were wilted. The palm leaves were brown and dry. Freeman's only offered to "freshen it up" and replace some of the flowers the a.m. of the actual funeral, which they did do and it looked a lot better. However, the flowers were half dead during all the visitation at the funeral home. I had to apologize to the family and they did say they noticed another Freeman's arrangement was also dead looking. I have always used Freeman's to order flowers but cannot chance it again. : ( read more

I ordered flowers today for a funeral that was today. I was extremely disappointed with what they sent. The arrangement overall looked ok but the flowers were not fresh. I booked them to do my wedding flowers. My colors were royal blue and yellow. We did not know much about flowers, so we trusted our consultant. She gave us some ideas. We came up with an idea of what the flowers would look like and left. They did not inform us of hours they delivered. We paid them and a week before my wedding I called to set up delivery and that's when they informed me that they only deliver before 12 on Saturday's. Had I know. This I would have arranged my day completely differently. But it was too late at this point. I had to arrange for someone else to go up there to meet the delivery people because we'd already paid it. I arranged so I could come see them the day before and they were completely wrong. I left, but had to return because I had to say something. When I told her they were the wrong color she blamed me that it was my fault. I told her I'd known my wedding colors way before we met with her. She kept arguing with me and I had to leave because I was in tears. I had my mom with me at the consultation and nothing was mentioned about not being able to get the right colored flowers. Their unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and overall customer service was abysmal. I would never go here again. read more

I ordered an arrangement for my sister for her birthday over the phone as I live out of town. Explained that my price range was ~50-60 dollars. I asked the lady that the arrangement be bright and colorful with pinks etc. The lady told me that they would place roses and other nice flowers in arrangement-I specified no daisies or other inexpensive flowers. Although the delivery was on time, the arrangement arrived as a sunflower and red carnation arrangement, basically the cheapest flowers on the market and a FAR cry from roses that I was told the arrangement would consist of. When I called the shop to question why the arrangement was not done like discussed the lady on the phone explained that they use what they have (implying that they did not have roses in the shop). They offered to go and pick up the arrangment to fix it but I stated that this was gift and would instead like a refund and instead would only wish to pay for the arrangement that was delivered. They refunded the delivery fee only. I don't know if this is the best this shop can do or if they were trying to take advantage of me as I wouldn't be seeing the arrangement in person.
