There are a few Freelance Shoes'es around, and although they seem to pick one style and deviate little from it (currently it's the platform, open-toed stiletto), they do have some really cute fabrics to throw into the mix. Polka-dots and cork-heeled florals are a current favourite.
The thing is with Freelance and similar on-trend no-name shoes (and clothing and accessories actually, while I'm at it) is that as mentioned, they don't tend to stray far from safety. So while a bold floral design and cork soles may seem a bit fashion-forward and daring it's really still just a Fergie style stripper shoe trying to act retro. I dunno, I don't want to ever see anyone wearing anything that I am. Ever. Anyway there are some nice pieces here and it's pretty cheap so there's no harm in looking right? read more
