The paint work that was done just prior to my move-in was sorely lacking in several ways. I hired Brogan's Home Painting to redo it all, and was delighted with their work and the entire experience. The painters were courteous, quick and efficient in their process, and incredibly neat. The completed painting work was impeccable (and I'm a stickler for straight lines!). I highly recommend Ed and his crew for any painting work needed for your home.

I took bids for a complete paint job and wood rot repair on my house. Brogan had what seemed to be…read morea reasonable bid, so I planned to give them the job pending meeting at the house in person. The bid was for $4,275.00. When I met with Ed Brogan at the house, the first thing he said was, "I went to the wrong house." I thought he was explaining why he was several minutes late for our meeting. But no. He siad, "I actually went to the wrong address when I was quoting your job," on a house one block over. I asked what that meant to my project. He said, "Well, I'm done. I can't do your house for less than $7,500.00." So he wanted $3,225 more than he quoted. I asked him if he was willing to reduce his $7,500 bid since it was his mistake. He got angry at just the question. I told him I had quoted much work in my career, and if I underbid or missed something, I took the hit and did the project for what I quoted. It was like he couldn't understand what I was saying. He started shaking his head. I said, "I think doing the job at or near what you quoted is the honorable thing to do." His response was to turn his back on me and start walking away. I said, "excuse me," and he turned back, only to say, remarkably, "I'm nice and you're not nice." What? Now he's going to insult me? Ed Brogan is not an honorable person, and in fact sent off all of the vibes of a bait-and-switch con man. Who drives to the wrong address when you have GPS? Who doesn't stand behind their quote? Who won't even try to find a middle ground? Deal with Brogan's Home Painting at your great peril. You are guranteed an unpleasant experience, and with his attitude about customers, who knows what kind of job they will do. The experience was so unpleasant that I wish I could give Brogan a minus rating. It's a company owned by a dishonest person. BTW, I had a witness to this whole conversation.

After discovering significant water damage in our sunroom, our insurance company recommended Mr…read more Cleanz LLC in Blue Springs, Missouri. What initially appeared to be a minor issue turned out to be extensive damage caused by water intrusion around the roofline and chimney. Ultimately, the entire sunroom had to be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. From the beginning, the team at Mr. Cleanz treated our home with care and professionalism. They worked directly with our insurance company, coordinated the necessary trades, and guided us through a project that was much larger than anyone originally anticipated. A project of this size naturally involved many moving parts, including demolition, structural repairs, roofing, windows, flooring, electrical work, insulation, drywall, painting, and finish carpentry. Throughout the process, the staff at Mr. Cleanz remained friendly, courteous, and committed to making sure the project was completed correctly. The finished sunroom exceeded our expectations. The craftsmanship is excellent, the room is beautiful, and it's hard to believe it's the same space after seeing the extensive water damage that had occurred. Looking back at the before-and-after photos really highlights how much work went into restoring our home. What I appreciated most was that Mr. Cleanz stood behind their work and stayed committed to seeing the project through. They worked with our insurance company throughout the process, coordinated numerous subcontractors, and made sure the final product met a high standard of quality. Home restoration projects can be stressful, especially when hidden damage is uncovered, but having a contractor who genuinely cares about restoring your home makes all the difference. I truly appreciate the effort their team invested in bringing our sunroom back to life. If you're looking for a restoration contractor for water damage, reconstruction, or insurance repairs, I would absolutely recommend Mr. Cleanz LLC. Our family is enjoying our beautiful new sunroom, and we're grateful for the work they did to restore our home. Thank you to everyone at Mr. Cleanz for helping turn a difficult situation into a beautiful finished product.

Because we hadn't closed on the home yet, Carlos gave me a bid based on Zillow pics and the square footage of the house. We agreed on a price and arranged for him to actually come look at the property once we closed. Even after looking at the job, he still remained firm that he he could do the job for the previous quote and agreed on a start date that worked for both of us. He actually even contacted me to say he could start the job earlier than expected but then got nothing but excuse after excuse with delays. I had to delay my carpet install by 2 days and even then, the work wasn't done. Carlos and 4-5 guys came the day after my carpets were installed and partially finished the job. He was supposed to come back to remove his trash from my garage, paint and reinstall can lights and registers. Every time I called or texted, it was "I'll get over there today to finish" and never did. I finally gave up and we finished the job ourselves AFTER paying even more than the agreed upon price (because he bid the job too low) LEASON LEARNED - STAY away from the too good to be true Craigslist ads, You really do get what ya pay for

Carlos is very loyal and honest! He noticed additional things in every project I have hired him for that needed to be addressed or fixed to properly do the job or to keep from having to redo portions of the work sometime in the future, such as subflooring in areas that were starting to rot but he identified and informed it should be addressed for everyone's peace of mind (and my pocket book down the road). I wasn't ready to pay more money but he gave a fair price for each addition and it was definitely well worth it!!! It is a piece of mind to know that by addressing each additional problem that arose I will not have future issues. There were many different extra ideas he had also expressed to make each project even better for no more or little more money than the initial contract. He has an eye for detail and saw things that even my detailed eye or my very OCD husband didn't see. He showed when he said he was going to or if running late would communicate with me to keep me informed and he was/is extremely fair!! He always made/makes sure that he and/or his employees would take care of my property and keep the job clean. I was even able to trust him working in my home while I ran a few errands here and there. Very hard to trust anyone these days, but I took a chance and he didn't let me down or take advantage. He is now and will forever be my go to guy for any of my future projects, of which I have more to schedule with him in the next year. I am very careful when recommending someone, especially to my friends or family. He hasn't disappointed me yet and I have had more projects/remodeling with him than I planned but he's done great work with fair pricing therefore I am comfortable with more projects! I highly recommend!!!
