I've never gotten so many jams on my AR-15 that has previously had more than 1000 rounds through it without any jams or problems before(of course with proper cleaning and maintenance to the firearm) but to load and right out of the gate to have a jam was so shocking. and not only that but couldn't even go 3 rounds with out having a spent case logged in the barrel. 10/10 would not recommend.... unless you like to remove jams out of your gun.....btw this ammo was bought more than 8 months ago and it still sitting in my stock pile cause I have no idea what to do with this useless ammo read more

Update. They have improved shipping time. I have purchased several thousand rounds from this company. The ammo is decent and prices are low BUT not low enough to offset their unbelievably poor service. Extremely slow shipping even in ammo they claim is in stock. VERY poor or non existent communication. I shoot 500-700 rounds of 9mm as well as 200-300 rounds of 22 every single month but am not a reloader so price as well as quality is important to me but the lack of fulfillment as well as general lack of service is just not worth the the savings of a few cents per round. When I ordered a lot of ammunition on July 16th, there were no notices of any delays, backorders, or anything else that might be of any kind of delay. After 2 weeks of waiting for my order to ship, I finally called, and after holding for 40 minutes, I was unapolagetically told "Well, we're experiencing a 10-17 day delay in shipping." So, I patiently waited and waited, and waited. My order finally shipped on July 31. Due to the lack of customer service, I probably will not be ordering from them again. Their prices aren't any lower than the other online ammunition vendors, and I can get faster, better service from other vendors as well. read more

I've purchased from FM for the past year or so. They've always had great prices and my orders came within a reasonable timeframe, less than 2 weeks often within one. From ID to SoCal. This past order was placed a week before CA signed the crazy new gun laws, including the ammo law, so once that hit there was a huge run on .223/5.56 ammo. My order took a month to arrive and they apologized but I understood. I've shot about 2k rounds from them and never had an issue. Customer service is slow to respond but they respond. Even with this one slow order, I would recommend them. I like the free shipping and 5% off too. That always helps. read more

Prices are good but quality and support suck! Purchased some 9mm ammo from them only to have it jam like crazy. I have called and called to try and find out exactly what the specs should be as I have used a Micrometer and found the length to be .343 for the 147 gr. JHP. Not sure if these numbers are within tolerance but can not get them to call me back....... No problem, I will spend a little more next time and go somewhere else to get a better quality product and better support! read more

So far so good. Great ammo for the price and shipping was the normal wait. 44 magnum and 40 S&W shoots great.I have only shot 65 rounds of 44 mag and about 120 rounds of their 40 S&W. No problems. read more

Sadly I live in California. When Freedom Munitions sent out emails stating that you need to order ammo from them by 12/20/2017 for them so you are guaranteed to get it before 1/1/2018 when the new ammo law goes in to effect. I have ordered ammo from them in the past and it has always shipped in just a few days. I ordere ammo on 12/20/2017 and kept watching for shipping notification. All my account said was awaiting fulfillment. On 1/4/2018 I noticed that the order status had been changed to CANCELLED. No notification, no explanation, just CANCELLED. If they couldn't fulfill the order they should have said because there were other options to get ammo before the deadline. How many people did they do this to? Very, very rude. I find their product to be 5 star.. shipping is slow most of the time... 1 order shipped very fast.. this last order, which is still awaiting fulfillment, was placed on Aug. 31st.. customer service hears from me daily and they respond with "cookie cutter' responses.. 5-7 days, unexpected orders,, just a bunch of crap.. the prices are great, no tax or shipping... I then decided to call, never was able to get anyone to answer the phone. When i finally received my order, incorrect items were shipped; good luck getting a hold of them to rectify their mistakes. Ammo is great a fair price clean and accurate. Quality components used. Having said that there customer service is garbage shipping time sucks and they have barely anything in stock. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Went to there website for BF and it supposedly crashed. When they posted on social media that they were resetting the deals and starting over at another time others were already buying the supposed inventory. So the deals weren't there, they removed previous posts of social media supposedly to avoid confusion, and now many of the customers have not been able to purchase the deals they said they had. Website supposedly crashed last year as well. You would think that they would learn from previous experience. I was hoping they would attempt to make it right but so far nothing. Yesterday, 5/15/17, I received an email from customer service at Freedom Munitions in response to my original May 8th email. The customer service rep, Zeke, was a snot, and he "apologized" for my troubles placing an order online, but he implied that it was due to my credit history. Honestly, I had already washed my hands of this online seller, but it bothered me that Zeke had pulled a dirty rabbit out of his, um, hat, and implied I was to blame for the problem due to bad credit. Truth be told, I have "exceptional" credit according to FICO, and my credit was definitely not the problem. The real problem, in my estimation, was due to the recent involvement of Authorize.net, the company that verifies credit card purchases with Freedom, or with the company website itself. So, I replied to Zeke's email response and sent it along to the main customer service email address. Lo and behold, today, 5/16/17, I get an email from the sales and marketing manager, BJ Norris, who arranged to speak with me via phone. He was simply reaching out to me to let me know that Zeke's response was not an acceptable response by Freedom Munitions standards, and that it was being dealt with accordingly to perhaps train Zeke on the finer points of customer service. He assured me that there was, in fact, a problem with Authorize.net that they were working on and I was not the only person having the issues I experienced. BJ seemed sincerely apologetic for the problems I'd had with Freedom. I'm giving two stars back to Freedom because I know there is at least one person who cares. I placed a small order tonight (successfully I might add) to see if their time between order and delivery has improved. That remains to be seen. I am not above giving a company a second chance, especially when someone is willing to listen and at least attempt to correct the problems. read more

Ordered on June 25, cancelled on July 13. Made multiple attempts to contact via phone calls and email. They never answer their phone, always goes to voicemail, and half the time the mailbox is full. I finally emailed this morning telling them that I was contacting the BBB, and guess what, they finally emailed me back telling me they are cancelling my order. I worked at this company for a short time and I'm extremely disappointed in their products, operation, and company code of conduct. They violate the U.S. Constitutional rights of their employees and treat them like subjects or slaves. They sure don't stand for the principles of America which is a Constitutional nation and a land of freedom, second chances, dignity, and respect for all. To clarify most of the folks are good and it's just the Human Resources and Finance Manager that are the bad one's which is common nowadays. The ordering process was easy, I purchased 1,000 rounds of 9MM for $0.18 per round, GREAT PRICE, the order to shipment was 5 days, placed an order on 4/16 and then shipped on 4/21. I received an email after placing the order, saying they had a backlog, which was okay, at least I knew in advance, so I had a low expectation on delivery. I was notified when the product was shipped, however, it would have been nice to have a status update email, but I already had low expectations and I was not in a hurry to get the ammo. I have not shot the ammo before, so I will update this review after that point, however, based on the reviews it sounds like the ammo is good. So the purchase experience was good, just slow shipment, however, if you read the reviews that seems to be the norm, so if you are in a hurry, not sure I would purchase from them. I am happy with my purchase, we will see how the ammo performs, so I rated them 4 stars! read more
