My wife and I had a great experience working with Erin King when buying our home. As first-time…read morehomebuyers from out of town, there was a lot of stuff that was entirely new to us, and Erin did a great job of walking us through everything we needed to do and when we need to have it done by. Further, as the type of person who likes to plan things out, and who can react poorly to unexpected negative events, Erin did a very good job of talking me off the ledge at times and explaining the various possible eventualities. Everything (document reviews and signings, etc.) was done electronically, with a minimum of fuss. Erin also recommended all the various inspectors and such required, who were all very good, and took responsibility for being at the house when needed. We unfortunately were dealing with sellers who made misrepresentations on some of their disclosures, as well as (in my opinion) at best incompetent and at worst dishonest seller-side agents (Watson Realty - be warned!). But Erin was helpful in advising us on how to make sure they lived up to their obligations, even when they were resistant or delaying in fulfilling their responsibilities. My one piece of advice (true in any case, I'd guess) is to understand that your realtor is a repeat player in the industry, and therefore will naturally be less aggressive than you want them to be -- don't feel like (as I did early on) you're being unreasonable when you want to take a harder line than your realtor advises at first, you're just protecting your investment. Erin was very good at presenting the full set of options. Highly recommend this group!

We had been assured that all was going well, so we proceeded to order the appraisal. When everything didn't go well, Bloom honoured their verbal promise and refunded us the appraisal price. While they didn't have control over the seller and the deal fell through, they did prove their integrity. 4 stars cause bummed, but 5 for an honorable broker.

I am so grateful I met Kimberly Tanner at the beginning of our home search, she made the home…read morebuying process so much easier! Kim took the time to get to know what we were looking for, what our family needs, and what we absolutely did not want! She also worked with us to list our old house. We ended up with multiple offers and Kim was incredible navigating the negotiations and helping us figure out which offer was best for us. Now we're in a home we absolutely love and she had an integral role in that!

I have heard stories about agents. I've personally known some of those agents I have heard stories…read moreabout. Shannon was the right amount of perfect. She genuinely cared that I was comfortable with the whole home buying process. When I was confused she patiently explained; sometimes she had to explain repeatedly, lol. I honestly feel that she had my best interest at heart. Home buying is a very intense process but Shannon made it so painless and easy. She gave excellent recommendations but did not pressure me to go with anyone I was not comfortable with. I was kept up to date on the status of my home purchase and she was honest when an issue arose that unfortunately does sometimes happen when purchasing a home. I felt that she really cared that I was happy with my home. I will recommend Shannon to any one of my friends with the confidence that she will be as amazing to them as she was to me.
