We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him

That's a lot of time. Please don't trust your car to one of the chains. The price tag and "quick turn around" might seem great, but I promise you, you will end up getting burned. Our cars run so well (one of them is going on 19 years in 2026! Crazy!), and I know the whole staff at Centerville is always looking out for our family and not upselling every five seconds. And honestly, the turn around has always blown my mind at CSC. This parking lot is ALWAYS full, and our cars are ALWAYS ready on time (We call ahead for appointments. I recommend doing the same).

I was having noise/grinding in the rear end of my Ford F150. My technician, Kaleb, met me at 800am on the drop off day. He drove the car with me to ensure he heard what I was hearing. After I left, they performed an 80 point inspection. The results of the inspection identified things that were wrong and needed immediate fix. It also identified "should haves" based on mileage and timing. The text allow me to "accept" or "decline" the service. I phoned for clarification on one item and was given a thorough explanation. I authorized them to perform the tasks I needed most. I received a call at 430pm that night indicating my car was done. I will be going back to Solomon's for future car repair needs.

Located on Sullivant Avenue just east of Demorest and on the south edge of Westgate Park SHIFFLET'S is convenient and they provide a shuttle, drop box availability, towing, a cool lobby, car rental services and both highly skilled ASE mechanics and office and support personnel that you wouldn't want anything more. This might not make sense but it has to be one of those little tiny things they have and that they use that really appeals to me... they text message on an isolated text line that you as a customer have access to. My inspection report with pictures came as a link in a text message. Updates were sent. It is so much easier using text messaging than playing phone tag around your availability to voice talk. Prices are so competitive that I don't believe price will be the factor that pushes your decision to use their services. I believe that their commitment to the customer by highly skilled long-time employees in a family-owned shop will be the deciding factors in choosing SHIFFLET'S. I appreciate the ability to discuss details of costs and options, and I feel these folks are clear in those discussions. All repairs I've had performed on 3 different cars over the last 6 years have been solid.
