I worked with Chris Ewell at Free Motion for 2 months and got some fantastic gains! He got my thumb moving again after an orthopedic specialist told me the only solution was surgery. I had a muscle that I had been trying for years without success to build back up and he got it engaged again. He fixed my hip so that I don't need to wear a lift anymore. He did a lot to correct my posture and strengthen and stabilize my body. I am so grateful for his help! The team of Techs are fantastic too! Casey is amazing for exercises and she is great at everything else too - very caring, kind, and eager to help. In fact, all of the techs are super nice and eager to help. Rob and his Free Motion team have gotten me out of more physical "pickles" than any other practitioner (chiros, massage therapists, acupuncturists, on and on) I've ever seen. No kidding. One time I was doing a lot of running and my calves completely locked up. I couldn't walk more than about five feet at a time. It easily took me an hour of short, shuffling walks just to get to my car which was about 50 yards away. My calves would cramp to the point where I had to constantly stop and rest. It was excruciating. By the grace of all that is holy, I somehow made it to Rob's office which was thankfully only about a mile away. He worked me in and (swear I'm not making this up) in 45 minutes I was walking again--NORMALLY. He and his crew are especially skilled at getting to the physical root cause of whatever ails me--and Rob has demonstrated to me through his results over and over that it's pretty much never what I think it is (e.g., pain is in neck, but it's because hips are locked up, or something like that). That level of expertise is tough to find in this world where doctors are happy to just surgically remove something if it is "causing" pain. Everything in the body is connected and what makes Rob unique is that he knows exactly how those connections work. So he just gets to the bottom of it and fixes the _actual_ cause. He and Free Motion will be my first choice when it comes to body aches and pains until we're both old and gray! :-) read more

This is by far the best physical therapy practitioner I've been to. It's the first time that I've been treated as a whole body, not just a "part". I went here after nights of no sleep from pain radiating down my arm. I did chiropractic first and continued to suffer. Within one week, I was sleeping better. If you have ANY body problem, this is the BEST place to go. I went in for a fractured foot, and I was walking and moving around much quicker than expected, then I developed some neck issues, and they handled it perfectly. I arrived at Free Motion with a rib out of place. It was so painful, I could only take shallow breaths. And even those hurt. I saw Dr. Rob and in a single visit he was able to gently put the rib into place and I was 100% out of pain. He completely understood exactly what was going on with me and how it was causing my whole body to compensate for the pain it was causing. I was amazed at how quickly he handled it and how exactly!!!
