This interesting sculpture stands in front of Chattanooga's Hunter Museum. It's very familiar to me as I've seen much smaller pieces by this artist in New York City's 14th Street - Eighth Avenue station https://www.yelp.com/biz/tom-otterness-sculptures-entitled-life-underground-new-york?hrid=Sbi-OnLgoI_4ONz9R05tCg and on the campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman https://www.yelp.com/biz/tom-otterness-covered-wagon-sculpture-norman?hrid=COK2mFYmhnaEwqIGVZwvjw. So spotting this in Chattanooga was fun to enjoy.
The caption reads, "In this piece, whimsical figures represent the everyday working person. As the couple jubilantly dances on a sack full of money, the viewer is left to wonder, How did they get the money? Did they find it or win the lottery? Does money always bring happiness?'"
