I am beyond busy with three different jobs and running a 10,000 person organization. I stopped in on a Monday evening (literally the only free minute I had before the funeral) . Nobody seemed to want to help me even though there were 3 employees and only 1 group of customers. Then I saw a bar code to scan in the back of the store to sign in, almost immediately someone helped me. I found a suit jacket i liked but the sleeves were a little long. The associate said he could have them altered by the next day. i said, "great, lets do that". We couldnt find pants in my size that matches the suit jacket. So i started looking for another brand in close enough of a color that nobody would notice. As I was doing this the associate got on the computer and said he found what I needed in their Nc store and he could have them overnighted. I said lets call the store to confirm they actually have them on hand and its not too late in the day to get them shipped overnight. He acted like he didnt want to confirm but I didnt trust what their computer inventory said. He got someone on the ohone who physically went and found the pants. I made him confirm verbally with them that they could still get them shipped overnight so i could pick them up the next day. He confirmed and even left a note for the manager the next day. I ended up spending almost $900 on a suit, shirt, belt, tie and shoes. I came back the next day 30 minutes before they closed to pick up my altered jacket and pants and they acted like they didnt have a clue about any pants. They looked in their system and they said there was no pending transfer showing. I absolutely had to have them then as i would be leaving from my work 45 minutes away from the store the next day to go out of town for the funeral. They didnt seem to care about my dilemma and made no effort to help . I finally made them call the other store and they found the pants still sitting there and not shipped as promised. I then tried to find the other black pants that didnt match the suit i paid for as i had to have something. We finally found them and I had to pay additional money to get those pants. I asked for a refund on the original pants i had already paid for that never got shipped and the guy actually told me he couldnt give me a refund on them because the pants werent in their physical possession.... What.... You charged me for them without them being in your physical possession, lol. So now Im going to have to make another 45 minute trip over there with time i do not have just to get a refund once the pants I originally order arrive and I will still have a suit that doesn't match and pants I had to pay extra for. Worst incompetency and customer service I have ever dealt with. I came into work today and told everyone the story and 3 different ppl told me nightmare stories they have had there. One was just a week ago trying to plan his wedding. Go to Dillards, Belk,or Jos A Bank. Go anywhere but to this joke of a company.
