We were provided with all resources, given the best information, and while being safe and socially distant, we had a blast. It had been a while since I had spent a day with Fred's Playland but nothing has changed. Fun, fun and more fun. This trip was absolutely amazing. We did a tapping for two of Dr. Phil's show. The surprise of the day was such a shocker. We saw the beautifully talented Toni Braxton. She spoke of the life she lives with the disease Lupus on a daily basis. What an incredible lady. She gave each of us a beautiful gift box full of lotions, oils and creams made from hemp oil and hemp seeds. Thanks Fred for the fantastic time. read more

Hubby & I went to the 9/23/19 taping of Dr. Phil. Went three years ago and we just waited too long to join Fred on another trip. Fred made what could be a long bus trip to LA so enjoyable by personally serving snacks on the bus. Dr Phil's shows were great. You always learn something from watching the shows. Lunch was at the San Antonio Winnery in LA. What a great place for lunch and picked some great wine also. I think the best part of the trip was the other travelers. They were all so friendly and great traveling companions. Keep an eye out for his future events! read more

One thing I miss about living in San Diego is Fred's Playland!!! A few years ago, I searched on Google for Group Activities in San Diego and saw the link for Fred's Playland and looked at all the previous and upcoming activities. I was interested. I went on a few of these adventures and have never been disappointed with the adventure and the company. Fred has the "in" with group rates and cool places to visit. There is no drama in this group, just a bunch of people who has the same agenda as you...to have fun! Very affordable and Fred takes care of his group. It's a great way to see the West Coast and some other states like Arizona & Nevada and meeting new people. Fred contributes a lot to make these outings fun and affordable for single, married and families to attend. read more

I met Fred when he brought his group to go sailing on a boat for which I am the captain. He and the group were very respectful of the vessel and had a great time. I had to find out more about this group so I joined immediately. Since then I have tagged along on several adventures and look forward to several more. I find this to be a great way to experience things I might never have thought about doing, and to meet people I might never have met any other way. Fred never seems to have a bad day. He plans everything in advance, but is flexible and always ready to go along with whatever unexpected situation arises. He often scouts locations before planning anything so there are no disappointments. This is by far better than any meetup group or adventure club. Joining is FREE. Since our first trip with Fred down to Mexico Lola and I have been on several events since. Including two evenings at the House of Blues, paragliding at the glider port at Torrey Pines and a wonderful picnic and BBQ at Mission Bay that he put on along with a exciting trip to Arizona that included 2 days of tubing the Salt River. On the tubing trip Lola and I won prizes valued more than the cost of the trip. One of the prizes was a turbo jet boat ride on the Patriot on San Diego Bay that we use on our 2nd anniversary. (Thanks Fred) I'm sure in the future that we won't miss any more of his events including his trip to the Grand Canyon in November. My husband and I spent our anniversary in Arizona with Fred's Playland SALT RIVER TUBING. One word - AMAZING! The bus ride up, the accommodations, the restaurants, the return trip, and all the FUN in between. We are looking forward to next year and hopefully a few adventures before then. I just got home from kayaking on the bay. It was a great adventure (and workout) on a beauriful day! We had a large group, but Fred made sure to check in with everyone periodically, and even attended to someone who got queezy! He was informative, friendly, attentive and a lot of fun!! I was going to take off a star due to the wait to get bbq started after kayaking was over. I was going to leave after waiting 20 mins, (I was starving, even after munching on a protein bar at the halfway point), but ended up chatting with a new friend in the parking lot for about 45 mins. By then the food was ready, so i went back for a plate! Lol! Everything was delicious, especially the chicken, which i missed out on, but another new friend was generous in sharing a sample. I'll definitely be back, and will bring friends and fam who fly in for a visit. :) read more

I met a few members at a hypnotist show... They were the energy of the show, I just had to know who are these people.. Lol.. well it turns out it was Fred's Playland.. This is the first event that I attended in more than 8 years since I moved to Texas. I'm now back in the Los Angeles area and Fred didn't let me down. The Chocolate Cruise was awesome. We recently went on a bus tour to Grand Canyon. It was my first time there and it worked out very well. Since we took the bus, it really eliminated the stress of having to drive and sleep issue. We basically just got on, slept, ate and got off. The bathroom on the bus was really clean (which was important to me) and we were able to stop at enough places to buy food, stretch, take pictures or use a bigger bathroom :). During the ride there and back, we were given drinks, snacks and a couple of movies to watch. We were also dropped off for a shopping spree at an outlet. Although I didn't expect to shop, it was nice walking around for a little while. We also had a couple of champagne and margarita parties at the hotel during the stay there. I want to comment on the hotel we stayed at-Days Inn, off route 66. The prices were reasonable (partly b/c of the discount we got as a group). The room was clean and comfortable. My favorite part was their nice and warm breakfast with so many options. The breakfast room attendants were very nice and attentive as well. My least favorite of the trip was dinner at Kicks 66. My husband and I didn't enjoy the food and the waitress wasn't the best. Overall, it was a nice experience! You do have to check your time when you are actually at Grand Canyon if you want to sit down to eat and explore all the routes. The view there is spectacular and we came home with many nice pictures. I've been blessed to know Fred for over 10 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Because if something goes sideways, as Life does, Fred figures out a way make it better. He is the ultimate host and amazing event planner. No matter what the event is or where it's being held, he does his best to make everyone's experience awesome. He is extremely classy, knowledgeable and fun loving. Initially, I had to convince my fiancee to go to an event Fred was hosting. Now, if I don't mention there's a 'Fredsplayland' event upcoming, he's asking me when's the next event. There are allll kinds of events, no matter if you are single, a couple, a family, young, old, Black, White or... You pick and chose as you prefer and (to me) the very best part is how very economically affordable they are. I highly recommend Googling 'Fredsplayland' and going on an excursion of your choosing. I went with Fred's playland to Las Vegas in January 2012. I had some much fun with the group on the bus, I laughed the whole way to Vegas and back home. The best part of the trip was I got married to my best friend on Fred's trip, thanks Fred for planing you trips and getting them so cheap, and our trip to Las Vegas, only cost us $50.
