Plus, when we were being walked to our table, we heard the kitchen staff and servers talking about actual work and no one was in the corner on their phone. Our server Becca and her co-workers Brent and Wyatt really made this place stand out for us. Becca, thank you for being so welcoming and fun! Brent, thank you for calling me out for staring at you because you looked familiar. That was hysterical! Wyatt, thank you for filling my drink for me when you brought out our appetizer! It was something you could have easily ignored but didn't. Just exceptional!

We started with a small order of guacamole and chips; both were fresh and extremely tasty. My husband had the chicken enchiladas with red sauce, my daughter had a kids cheese quesadilla with fries and I opted for the cream of chicken rice soup and margarita flatbread. Everyone was very impressed with their choice. The flatbread was very unique in that it had a red marinara sauce with the traditional tomato, mozzarella, basil and basalmic drizzle; it really gave the dish a great flavor. The soup is usually my favorite but it wasn't up to par this time; it was too thick and pretty flavorless. I took it home for lunch and added pepper and lemon which made it better but still too thick. Overall great meal and we will return.

Nice and helpful staff, with a wide variety of menu choices for food and drinks. Drinks were great, and a fair price, especially with the specials they run throughout the week. Food was also great, between our table we ordered the turkey burger, salmon, brisket and kielbasa, brisket sandwich, and the stew. We loved everything except the stew, I'd skip that for sure, it just tasted like a big bowl of spicy baked beans. But the rest were delicious. My turkey burger was made fresh in-house and the spices they used were awesome. The brisket and smoked meat were also amazing (who would have thought it's a good idea to order the meat in a smokehouse). Excited to come here again!

While the surrounding…read moreroad is currently under construction, getting in is a breeze with accessible entrances at both the front and the back. Parking is wonderfully convenient thanks to the dedicated parking lot and garage located directly behind the building. The standout feature of this establishment is its incredible dedication to gluten-free diners. Not only does the menu clearly mark all gluten-free items, but it extends this care to drinks as well--something I have rarely seen outside of beer selections. To start, I ordered the Burlington sunrise cocktail, and it was exceptionally good. The menu also explicitly notes that all gluten-free items are prepared separately, providing immense peace of mind. My dad and I shared the cheese curd pull-apart appetizer, which was delicious, complemented by ranch dressing that was quite fantastic. For my main course, I ordered the BLT on gluten-free bread accompanied by fries. Although it initially arrived with onion rings by mistake, the staff quickly remedied the error and brought out a fresh side of fries, made easy by their dedicated fryers. My dad ordered the sausage, and everyone at the table agreed that the food was fantastic. The service matched the quality of the food. When I mentioned my celiac diagnosis to our server, she responded immediately with an reassuring and confident "no problem." To top off a wonderful evening, we discovered they host a trivia night, part of a rotating schedule detailed on a special activities menu showcasing the fun events they offer every night of the week.

RECOMMENDED I recently visited Charcoal Grill in Burlington,…read moreWisconsin with clients; I had an enjoyable time there. The food is excellent; I had a Brau Burger with cheese and fried onions on a Kaiser roll. The burger was charcoal-grilled to perfection: juicy and tender, and with plenty of flavour. There is also a 'fix-it' bar where you can get all the toppings you want for your burger, including lettuce, tomatoes, onions (red and white), pickles, and pickle spears. Everything was fresh and tasty. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, without hovering; she brought our drinks and our orders very quickly and was very nice to us. I'm sorry but I don't remember her name. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and it was really refreshing to enjoy this during the hot summer weather. The interior decor is somewhat industrial-chic I guess; I suppose it is popular with some people. The restaurant was very clean; the carpark and the grounds were absolutely spotless. Overall I enjoyed my visit very much, and would definitely return. RECOMMENDED

When I walked in and seen that they had no more alcohol, I knew this wasn't a good sign. The saving grace for this place was the waitress. She was a hard-working, friendly, helpful employee. I have to say, this place reminded me of a sick person in the hospital, dying, and it's only a matter of time before it's over. The waitress started out with saying there's no rotisserie chicken today. Another bad sign. I ordered a burger because I wanted that charcoal flavor that they promote. My buddy got a grilled chicken sandwich. I opted for soup because it was a healthier option than fries. I got their version of a patty melt, and the onions and bread kind of tasted "off." Old and rehashed beyond its days type "off." I eventually stripped both off of the sandwich, and went in for the burger. The burger had a strong cow taste, and I'm not saying that in a good way. The soup was edible, but nothing great. I used to love this place as a kid. Now, as I aged, so has the Charcoal Grill. They are a very sick patient, I suggest a DNR order be put in place for this patient. It was so bad that they probably should just step on this patient's feeding tube, and be done with the misery. I will not be back and I do not suggest anyone visit for the first time. It is a shell of its once decent quality and needs a resurrection. I give it two stars for the memories and the hard working waitress.
