I purchased premier access tickets for a special event held twice a year here at Fredricks Outdoor (starting at $50 rising to $100 nearer the day of show). General admission is provided free to anyone wearing a $20 Fredricks Tshirt, which is a great deal for a lifetime of free admission to their twice yearly musical concerts. This event was an outdoor performance by Alabama native Jamey Johnson. This concert event was held on Saturday night, April 28th, 2018. The back of this outdoor equipment store has a covered loading dock which serves as a stage facing a large grassy pasture area where concert goers park and then pass through a security check area to arrange their own chairs to enjoy the music. A large screen TV above the stage provides a good view of the performers even to people as far away as the parking lot. This was probably the best organized and orderly event I've ever attended of this size. Just guessing I would say well over 5,000 people. Ample security personnel were on hand and parking attendants handled parking in the open pasture to maximize space and leave plenty of exit aisle space. Handicap parking was not provided which caused some problems. Crowds were long for concessions and bathrooms but everyone seemed to have a really great time and enjoyed the music. Jamey Johnson and a super talented group of musicians put on a stellar show. You can tell the crowd is full of fans when you can hear the crowd singing along with the songs. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Fredricks Outdoors yesterday. While visiting from Minnesota to compete in the Bassmaster Open, our boat trailer started squeaking. Being so far from home this was a very big concern. We called and George said to bring it in. George was very helpful and all the mechanics immediately started inspecting the trailer. They quickly diagnosed the issue and started working on it. Everyone there was so friendly and the place is beautiful. Our Legend boat trailer was rather new and the staff at Fredricks made many calls to see if it was still under warranty. I called Fredricks on Saturday because I had an issue with my Honda outboard and decided to take it down for repairs. The service manager, Jeff Gray, immediately diagnosed the problem so I left it with him. On Monday I received a call from Jeff informing me that my repair was ready for pick-up. The service we have received both during the sale and after the sale has been outstanding. Started out as a great buying experience. Sale staff was great and very helpful with buying a boat from out of state. I received the boat with no problems. Once the boat was in the water it started taking on water into the engine compartment and the other dry storage compartments. After talking to Yamaha, I was told to contact the dealer, that was the biggest waste of my time. They offered zero help with getting the boat fixed. Once they get the check it's no longer their problem. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. They sold me a lemon and they will do the same to you. read more
