I really wanted to avoid having to write a negative review, but I've had so many negative…read moreexperiences since my roof was put on that I do not believe it is fair to other consumers for me to stay silent. Trust is key when you are dealing with something that you as the homeowner cannot possibly inspect yourself - you have to rely on the folks you've hired to do things like a roof because you can't always see what the completed work looks like. Unfortunately, I've lost trust in One Stop Roofing because on multiple occasions I've found issues after they assured me they had either (a) corrected them, or (b) had looked everything over to make sure there were no other issues. Just today I had to repair a damaged gutter guard that they kicked in while on my roof - leaving the gutter wide open during leaf season. Had I not been on my ladder replacing a camera battery, I would have never known. And it would have been obvious to them they did this - it was at the point where they would climb on my roof. Other issues are apparent in the pictures. I hope I can learn to trust in them again since they claim to offer a 10 year labor warranty, but today I'm at a loss for words. The feeling I came away with is they are only going to fix what they think you might catch.

The world of home repair is a scary place - it is hard to find someone who is honest, dependable,…read moreand skilled who is also willing to go the extra mile. Jason Marsden and his team at Professional Home Repair and Maintenance services fit that description to a tee. I was referred to Jason by Lumber Liquidators when I was faced with a serious family emergency that required the installation of new flooring in a relative's home. I live in California and was managing all of the details remotely, which normally would probably have made things impossible to accomplish. However, Jason walked me through my options, helped me define the best solution, went out of his way to go to the store himself to see what was in stock and available quickly, then sat with me while I viewed the options online so that I could get the purchase completed. He then drove personally to Birmingham to pick up the missing components (and did not charge me for it!), rescheduled his team to work on New Year's Day and through the following days to get the job done in time to allow my very sick niece to return to a safe and clean home. Not only was Jason fantastic, but every person he sent to work on the project was fantastic as well; they cleaned up everything as if it was a hospital operating room, they solved problems before I even thought about them, and were unfailingly cheerful, supportive, and empathetic throughout the entire process. Last but not least, the price point was reasonable in the extreme - I can say with absolute certainty that it was the best experience with home repair i have ever had, and if you are thinking about having work done, you could not do better than to work with Jason Marsden and his team.

Before they came to view the work and write an estimate, Mike told me that they were very booked up. AHS was worth the wait. They have a great team including electrician, drywall, plumbing, carpenters, painters. You name it, they can do it. Every technician from AHS was competent, professional, prompt, and polite. A real pleasure working with them. We also expanded the scope of work and they pressure washed the house, painted the doors, windows, and garage, and caulked. Within a month or two of installation, the grout in our master bath had cracked and was starting to fall out in many places. This is just one example, there were other shortcuts taken (not ensuring the floor was level under tile, sloppy painting drips & stain on white stair risers, not filling nail holes, etc.) but really the biggest reason I could not recommend this company is because they would not answer or return my calls. Not one to hassle, I tried calling 3-4 times over the course of a month, leaving 2 gracious messages. Each time I called, I was cut off and redirected to voicemail. It is apparent that All About You Remodeling & Design will not stand by their work. I would be happy to update this review were I to hear back and see All About You stand by the quality of their work in our home, but for these reasons, I cannot recommend their work.
