Two of them we didn't like but one we really did, so we considered buying one to share on our drive home. However, we are broke college students and decided we didn't need it to save money. As we walked out of the store, the man handing out samples said "So you are going to eat everything and leave?". It was weird because he tried to embarrass us in a crowded store. We would've laughed it off with him, however we thought it was weird how he was happily handing out samples to others but then seemed annoyed when we wanted to try. Usually places that voluntarily hand out samples don't get mad at you if you don't like it or decide not to purchase. Just weird vibes.

On our way home, she decided to grab a bag and went with a large with butter. While it was being filled, I noticed it was double the price of a medium, which we unfortunately didn't realize before ordering. The large came out to $17, which felt steep considering their massive party bag is only $20. While the party bag isn't warm and fresh, it definitely offers more bang for your buck. That said, the popcorn itself was delicious--no complaints on taste or quality. Next time, I'd definitely go for a small or medium size. It's great popcorn, just be mindful of the pricing tiers!

The one thing that stood out to me here was their business model. You aren't allowed to fill your own bags. As you browse you are approached and asked if you need a bag. A little different than other bulk candy stores I've been in before where it's more of less self service. From a health and welfare standpoint I can respect this... From a control standpoint I really wasn't a fan. I want to have the bag in my hand. I know roughly how much a pound weighs in my own hand. It's hard to judge the weight when it's in someone else's.

The Vienna all beef quarter pound hot dogs! Naturally, being as I am from Chicago and I love all things Chicago, and in preparation for my trip to the Bears whipping of the Green Bay Packers tomorrow, I decided to have a Chicago dog and the chili Mac dog.
