I did not want anything too heavy, but just enough to tide me over before dinner. I ordered a snack size Chicken Pop-ins for only $1.99 plus HST, including choice of dipping sauce (I chose sweet & sour). The "popcorn style" all white meat chicken (slightly chewy) was nicely breaded and seasoned, and not greasy either. The service here was quick during my mid-afternoon visit.

Lunch was available at 11 so we waited a couple minutes to see the lunch menu. The options were really great and a bit different from the US. They had a vegetarian burger but instead of a meat substitute they put another patty of bread in the middle. Surprisingly tasted good! The inside of this McDonald's was extremely clean and there was an outdoor seating area as well. The restrooms were not exceptionally clean. We all enjoyed our quick snack and this location got super busy for lunch while we were leaving! It is also located very close to the Magnetic Hill if you are looking for a pit stop.
